Chapter4

The silence that followed Britney’s agreement stretched between them like a charged wire. Easton said nothing for several long seconds, simply watching her as if committing her submission to memory. The air in the office shifted—warmer now, heavier, as though the walls themselves were holding their breath. “Stand up,” he said. His voice was low, steady, and commanding. She rose slowly, her legs unsteady beneath her. Everything inside her screamed to run, to leave before this decision became irreversible—but she didn’t. She stood, heart pounding, eyes cast downward, heat crawling up her neck. Easton walked toward her, slow and deliberate. He didn’t rush. Dominance lived in his stride, in the way his gaze roamed over her body like he already owned it. He stopped inches from her, so close she could feel his breath on her skin. “You understand what you just agreed to, don’t you?” he asked, his hand brushing a strand of hair from her cheek, his knuckles grazing her jaw. Britney nodded, barely trusting her voice. “Yes.” “No games. No hesitations,” he murmured. “If you give yourself to me, I will take all of you.” The words made her shiver. There was no tenderness in his voice—only certainty. He was the kind of man who didn't ask twice and didn’t wait for permission once it was given. She felt his fingers trail down her arm, igniting goosebumps. His hand paused at her waist, anchoring her to the moment. “You’re shaking,” he noted, his eyes locking on hers. “I’ve never…” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “I’m a virgin.” Something shifted in his expression—surprise, perhaps, quickly masked by something darker. Possessiveness. Hunger. The knowledge that he would be the first filled the air with even more weight. “Mine,” he muttered, more to himself than her. He leaned in close, his lips brushing her ear. “Every part of you, Britney. From this moment forward, you’re mine.” His mouth found hers before she could answer. It wasn’t gentle. It was consuming. His lips moved against hers with purpose, with a heat that made her knees buckle. She gasped as his tongue slipped past her lips, tasting her like he had waited far too long. His hands roamed down her back, pulling her closer until she could feel the hard lines of his body pressed against her softness. She clung to his shirt, trying to steady herself, overwhelmed by the newness of it all—by the intensity, the unfamiliar fire licking at the edges of her restraint. He broke the kiss just long enough to whisper, “Undress.” Her breath caught. Her fingers trembled as she reached for the zipper of her dress. He watched her, unblinking as if every movement she made belonged to him. She let the fabric fall from her shoulders, letting it pool at her feet. She stood in her simple underwear, exposed under his gaze, her cheeks flushed. She had never felt so vulnerable—and never so wanted. Easton reached out, touching her chin and tilting her face up. “Look at me.” She did. And the intensity in his eyes was enough to steal the air from her lungs. “I’m going to take my time with you,” he said, his voice husky. But make no mistake—this will not be soft. I don’t do soft, Britney. I do real. I do deep. And tonight, you’re going to feel everything.” She didn’t speak. She only nodded again, letting him lead. He turned and walked to a button on the wall, locking the door. The click sounded final. Then he moved to her again, guiding her backwards until the backs of her legs met the edge of the sleek leather couch lining the office wall. “Lie down,” he said. Britney obeyed, sinking into the couch’s cool surface. He knelt in front of her, removing her shoes, then trailing his hands slowly up her legs. His fingers were sure, practiced, but they lingered on her skin like she was something precious. He kissed her ankle, then her thigh, then higher—each press of his mouth a promise. A warning. She gasped, her hands gripping the armrest behind her as unfamiliar sensations bloomed inside her. “Tell me if you want me to stop,” he murmured against her skin. “But if you don’t say a word, I’ll assume you want everything.” “I… I want this,” she whispered. “I want you.” Those words lit something in him. He stood again, unbuttoning his shirt, revealing hard planes of muscle and smooth skin. She stared, entranced by how powerful he looked, how every part of him seemed carved from control and confidence. He undressed the rest of the way with fluid, unhurried movements, then went to her, lowering himself above her on the couch. His hands framed her face as he kissed her again—deeper, this time, slower. “Breathe,” he said against her lips. “Just breathe.” Her body tensed as he aligned himself with her, but his hands soothed her, grounding her in the present. He moved carefully, reading every flicker of her expression, every sound she made. There was pain—brief, sharp—but his hand was there, gripping hers, holding her gaze steady. And then, she was his. They moved together, her body learning the rhythm, her mind letting go. He didn’t ask—he took, but with precision, with power, with a fierce kind of reverence that made her feel claimed rather than used. Every thrust, every whispered command, every possessive grip of her hips told her that she belonged to him now. “Say it,” he growled, his voice rough as he pressed deeper. “I’m yours,” she gasped, tears at the corners of her eyes—not from pain, but from the weight of it all. He kissed them away. When it was over, he didn’t move away immediately. He stood above her, inside her, his hands cradling her face, his breathing just as uneven as hers. For a man who claimed not to do tenderness, his touch lingered longer than she expected. “You did well,” he said finally, his tone softer than before. She nodded, still catching her breath. Her body ached in unfamiliar ways, but a strange calm settled over her. The deal was done. The arrangement had begun. But deep inside, Britney knew that nothing about this would remain just business.
