Chapter 8 Morning came before I was ready for it. A nurse bustled into the room, with a guard at her back. ‘Hurry up and get dressed,’ she said as she dumped a fresh pile of clothes on the end of the bed, along with a pair of slip on shoes. ‘Your exercise session is in ten minutes.’ She left the room, closing the door behind her as I jumped out of bed. I scooped up the clothes, wiping sleep from my eyes with my free hand as I hurried into the bathroom.
