Consciousness slowly pulled into me as I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar room. I knew I was in the little cottage near the packhouse owing to the bareness of the room and the peculiar green colour of the walls. It was much closer to Vesna's garden than the room I currently reside in. I close my eyes and rub my temples. My ears are ringing, and I'm suffering from a migraine-like throbbing pain. I take a few long breaths and open my eyes again. I look out the window at the darkening sky. I grumble in frustration to myself. It's already dark outside! I slept the entire day through!
