Chapter Twenty An hour later and having wandered along the main street, I entered the outer halls of a shopping mall. Rows of gaudy lit shop fronts, interfaced with hundreds of bag carrying shoppers (mostly women at this time of day) strolled or galloped along wide, brightly lit thoroughfares. Water tinkled delightfully into a large oval pond. Falling from the arms of three wood nymphs to create a relaxing atmosphere. Benches, provided to allow brief sojourns or meeting places, were suitably scattered amidst the throngs. The designers had created an almost perfect, timeless atmosphere in which the clients could while away their time and spend their hard earned money.
