Hours passed as we trekked through the dense forest. I tried to keep myself sane by talking to the creatures and learning more about them. A lot of them were quiet, self isolating creatures who just wanted to live peacefully away from people but they were hunted down and captured. Some were like the chimera, they had whole families that were killed by Douglas and his army. Others were out in the open, stupidly, and that's how they got caught. I felt bad for all of them, despite the fact that I was very well aware that some of them openly hunted humans.
