"So this the the reason ..." said Theodore.
"Exactly ! It's normal for you not to know about these things because when this girl was brought by Aiden , his Majesty and I was present throughout the whole process" described Ryan.
"Oh , I see" remarked Theodore.
Suddenly , a handsome young man with green hair and eyes entered the room.
"Son , you're finally here. What took you so long to arrive here ?" asked Ryan.
"So this guy 'Drake' is Ryan's son ?!" gasped Maiara and said in her mind.
"... I was with his Majesty and Aiden" replied Drake.
"But , what were you doing there. As far as I know , his Majesty had called for Aiden to punish him. Then you ... ?" asked Ryan.
"Where did you hear these rumours from ? Let me guess , from your so-called servants , right ?"
"Looks like this guy 'Drake' doesn't have a good relationship with Ryan. If I was in his place then I would've reacted the same way too" remarked Maiara in her mind.
"Drake ! How dare ... ?!" just when Ryan was going to shout , he was interrupted in between by Theordore who said "Minister Ryan , it's getting late. I think we should go to his Majesty as soon as possible."
"... You're right ! There's no need of talking to this brat !" raged Ryan and walked out of the room.
"Please don't mind his words. His mood was a bit off" saying this to Drake , Ryan also walked out of the room.
"Whatever !" said Drake as if he didn't care and went towards Maiara.
"What's special in this girl ? She looks ordinary and despite that people are making a big fuss over it !" remarked Drake looking towards Maiara's face.
"How dare he say this like ?! He really is a brat ..." raged Maiara in her mind , while trying to keep her facial expressions normal.
"Whatever !" said Drake and yawned "I'm feeling sleepy ! This bed looks so big and comfortable. I should just sleep here." Saying this Drake slept beside the space where Maiara was acting to sleep.
"Now he wants to sleep here too ?! What kind of Prince is he ?! Doesn't he have any manners ?" said Maiara in her mind.
Within a friction of seconds , snoring sounds could be heard by Maiara. "Did he sleep this fast ?" wondered Maiara in her mind and slowly opened her eyes.
She slowly tried to turn left and saw that it really was Drake who was snoring.
"Look at him , looking like a slowpoke" murmured Maiara. She silently stepped down and gazed at Drake's face.
"He really looks like someone ... but who ?! Why can't I remember ... ?! I had seen this face , somewhere in that 'Legend of Mian Dynasty' book ..." said Maiara and tried to remember.
"Wait a minute ... why am I even thinking about these things ?! I have no time to waste ! I have to leave this palace as soon as possible !" saying this just when Maiara was walking towards the door , suddenly she felt a hand on her hand and heard a voice which said "Where are you going ?"
"It's ... It's Drake's voice. But what am I going to do now ?!" gasped Maiara in her mind.
