Chapter - 2

"Who … who are you ?" asked Maiara with a blurred vision.

Instead of giving any answer , suddenly that person covered with red light , attacked on Maiara.

"Aaaah !!!" screamed Maiara with fear and quickly woke up , for she was watching a dream.

She quickly looked around and closing her eyes in relief she murmured "Thank God , it was only a dream …"

Just when she was going to continue , suddenly something struck her mind. Saying "Wait a minute …" , she quickly opened her eyes.

She looked all around her and was surprised to see herself sitting on a bed with walls which had ancient drawings carved on it.

"What … What's this place ?!" she said with a surprised face.

Suddenly two ladies who looked like maids wearing ancient clothes walked inside that room with bowls filled with water in their hands.

They said unitedly "Greetings Heaven's Erudite. Here's water for you to wash your face" and started walking towards Maiara.

"W-Wait a minute ! Stand there , don't come near me !" said Maiara.

"Who are you and why are you calling me an Erudite … ?" asked Maiara and was going to continue but was cut off in between by one of those maids who said "Apologies to talk in between but it's 'Heaven's Erudite' , my lady."

"Whatever , I don't care ! Who are you guys ?! And where am I ? Why did you brought me here ? And why are you calling me an Erudite ? And most importantly how did you brought me here ? …" just when Maiara was continuing to ask her questions she was again cut off by someone who said "Slowly , Heaven's Erudite. If you'd be this fast , then how will those maids be able to answer all of your questions ?"

Maiara looked towards the door and saw a handsome man with white shiny hair and blue eyes entering the room and screamed at once "You … I know you ! You're the famous 'Doctor Theodore of Mian Dynasty' !"

"How did she know that he is Dr. Theodore only by looking at his face ?! She was totally unconscious last night so there's no way she would've heard this. Looks like she really is the Heaven's Erudite !" whispered one maid to the other.

"Yea …" replied the other maid and said in her mind "I need to inform about this to her …"

Without replying anything to Maiara's answer , that white haired man signed both the maids to leave the room. Both the maids bowed to that white haired guy and Maiara and left the room.

"Yes , you're right , I'm Dr. Theodore of Ming Dynasty" that white haired guy smiled affirmatively.

"I had never thought that I could meet you ! I have read a lot about you … wait a minute" paused Maiara and continued "You were one of the famous Doctor in some 650th year of Ming Dynasty. Then how can I see you … ?! Are you a ghost ?!" jolted Maiara from the bed with a scared face.

"Pfft !" laughed that white haired guy and said "Pardon me for laughing. Ofcourse I'm not a ghost ! Just as you said previously , I truly am a Doctor of Ming Dynasty"

"But then , how can I talk with you right now ?! If I'm not wrong , then this year it's 2021. Then how …?!" said Maiara with confusion.

"It's because you are sent here by Heaven to help Ming Dynasty" said Theodore.

"Sent here ? What kind of joke are you spouting ? Is here some kind of shooting going on ? Both Ezylnn and Liam are playing prank on me right ?!" said Maiara and started looking around.

"Heaven's Erudite , if you don't mind then may I ask who are Ezylnn and Liam ? Are they also Erudites just like you ?" asked Theodore.

"What ? Hahaha ! Both Ezylnn and Liam have asked you to do these things and now you're pretending that you don't even know them. Why are you talking with me so formally ?! What's with that Heaven's Erudite ? Just call me Maiara. Anyways , where are both of them ?" asked Maiara to Theodore.

"Excuse me …" Theodore was just going to continue but was cut off by Maiara who said "Again ?! Why are you saying 'Excuse me' ?! Just ask or tell anything directly. Anyways , I must say , you truly look like Dr. Theodore of Ming Dynasty !" said Maiara.

"But , I truly am …" said Theodore but was again cut off by Maiara "Doctor Theodore of Ming Dynasty , right ?"

Theodore replied with a nod. "You truly are a good actor. How much money have they given you ?" asked Maiara.

Before Theodore could answer , there was a knock on the door. "Come in" said Theodore. Hearing this , a soldier entered that room and declared "Greetings Heaven's Erudite and Imperial Doctor. His Majesty has asked the Heaven's Erudite to meet him."

"His Majesty ? Is it Liam ? Finally I'll get to meet him. I must say , this was a great prank ! Probably I should also act like them. Let's go , soldier !" said Maiara with excitement and ran out of the room.

"Heaven's Erudite , Wait !" shouted Theodore and ran after her. While the soldier who was standing there , was totally confused about what was happening there.
