Spring passed and summer came, and three months flew by in the blink of an eye. I used part of the funds I had liquidated to open a small bookstore in the old town, naming it "First Whispers." The shop isn't big, but it has excellent lighting. With wooden bookshelves and warm yellow lights, there's a coffee bar by the window, filling the air with the aroma of freshly ground coffee. I want Leo to grow up surrounded by the scent of books, and I also want to find something to do for myself—one can't live in memories forever. On the opening day, a few old friends came to show their support. "Violet, you've really been reborn!" my best friend Scarlett exclaimed as she looked around the bookstore, "I used to only know you as Mrs. Vance, but now I see that you yourself are a shining light."
