Being a part of the GG girls was the best thing to ever happen to me.

My first club session was going on and although I could hardly understand half of what they were saying it was still interesting for me because I was where I wanted to be

" And Tina , last week you brought nine fish rolls when I specifically asked you to get ten !" Plangnan shrieked, stamping her feet from not getting her way.

" I did! I bought ten but Jessica ate one of them , and that wasn't my fault!" Tina protested making plan gn an turn and glare at Jessica

You eat a lot Jessica, that's not what GG girls do , we eat on schedule…" Breakfast at ten, lunch at two and dinner at six . After that we only take lime water… I mean we have been through this already. What's the point of me being the leader when you…" I blocked them out not wanting to hear anymore.

The GG girls had a long set of rules, our uniforms consisted of blue skirts that stopped at our thighs with white long sleeved shirts…

The club has customized their white shirts while they wear red cheeks on Monday , blue on Tuesday ,green on Wednesday, yellow on Thursday and Friday we wear our sports wear.

"And that's how a grand girl should behave, am I clear ?" Plangnan finally concluded .

Yes plangnan! We all chorused .

"Next session will be about how you talk to a boy, I will bring a guy here and all of you will talk to him…"

Well being a grand girl won't teach me anything but at least I will be one of the popular girls in school and go me that was the beginning of me achieving my dreams

Plangnans phone was ringing… All members turned to look at her as she said it was just a message….

Wow…

first off phones are not allowed in school secondly she's using an iPhone 12 like she's using an iphone 12 thats the latest version I was so shocked it reflected in my entire expression

"You should close your mouth less a fly finds its way in" , plangnan said

Don't be so shocked I am using an iPhone 12 Tina and Jessica are both using iPhone 11s ,Ruth Is using an iPhone 10s while sekyen and favour are both using an iPhone 10 while tapmun and faith ate both using an iPhone 6 and I on the other hand was using a Techno which was at home .

When I was asked where my phone was I said it was home when they asked the model I was so ashamed I could not say that I was using a techno out loud because it made me look like an outcast but i still said it anyways

"You're using techno? I thought that phone was outdated ages ago" Tina sniered , she doesn't like me and I don't even know why.

Well… The thing is that … Um.. I can't afford an iPhone. I said stammering. Sometimes I felt embarrassed that I came from a middle class family .

"Yeah well can't your boyfriend buy it for you ? I mean Tina and favour their boyfriends got them the phone they are using " plangnan said

Do you have a boyfriend ? Tina asked after noticing my silence

Well… The thing is that I have never really had a boyfriend. I said more to myself than to them…

You have to get a boyfriend, anyone from this school and one sugar daddy! Favor advised

Sugar daddy? I was more surprised than expected. I know the GG girls are bad and all but sugar daddy!!

Yes sugar daddy , we all have one well except plangnan she has like three" Ruth answered this time around.

I looked at them and hoped they would all laugh and say they were joking but none of them did.

I don't know if I could do that and even if I could, where would I find one? I stammered, unable to understand what was being said .

My thoughts kept running round with pictures of my mom face full of disappointment and embracement

"Well you have to get a sugar daddy and you need to let him get you an iPhone and other things you may need in the future" plangnan informed but then she paused " unless you do not want to be a part of the GG girls "

No no no I do , but planganan where will I get a sugar daddy from ?

Leaving the grand girls would be the death of me . At that point every thought of my mom being disappointed had disappeared as the saying " what you do not know would not kill you" fresh determination had set in when plangnan said " don't worry , dress up on Saturday we are all going out ".

The announcement got the other girls smiling but I couldn't cause I knew I had one big problem

Discipleship class ! It was every Saturday from 7am - 6pm

I can't attend , I have a discipleship class ! I protested , daddy will kill me if he discovers I missed discipleship class.

Oh honey you have to , bedsides your the center of attraction for the outing … Tina interjected , glaring at me with a smirk on her lips .

Why , where I questioned , shivering from the cold looks I got from Tina

"To get you a sugar daddy" Ruth said and they all bust out laughing and all I could think of was how to get away form discipleship class
