I ignored how much my feet throbbed as I ran over Odin and Omi. We all but flew as we backtracked back down into the tunnel back into the cold and the dark. Odin stayed behind me his eyes trained where our enemies would approach from. Meanwhile, I couldn’t focus. Fear raced through me. All I wanted to do was run and hide and get away from that sound no matter what. I didn’t want to see what those noises belonged to. But deep down I already knew just what they were. “Calm down,” Omi whispered putting an arm around me as we ran. “We won’t let you get hurt.” “No, no, no,” I sobbed. The odor rolled in next.
