“Sir, your father is here to see you.”
Damien’s face changed as those words left Lily’s lips. I don’t know why, but I thought I saw a drop of fright run through his eyes. The second I took my eyes away from him it was gone.
Damien walked down the stairs while I headed in the direction of the room with Damien’s words replaying in my head.
The minute I lay on the bed, I sought for a distraction so I picked up my phone and began to swipe through it, seeing all the messages from my mother which I had left unanswered, just made me realize that I needed to call her back before she waltz into the Mansion surprisingly just like Damien’s father did.
