Chapter 11Garrett pulled his truck into the driveway as his gaze fell to the clock on his dashboard. Damn. He was supposed to be at the record store in a little over an hour, and he smelled like s**t. His eyes watered from the odor in the truck. He’d spent the day at a client’s, building a vegetable garden complete with organic manure-esque like fertilizer. He walked straight to the laundry room, stripped off his clothes, and threw them into the washing machine. Both he and his clothes were in desperate need of a wash. He hopped in the shower, turning the water as hot as his body could stand. When he turned, the flow from the jets pounded on his back, relaxing his muscles.
