Chapter 35Sunday morning, Garrett opened his eyes, and a sharp pain radiated through his head, forcing him to slam them closed. His gut retched, and his eyes popped open again. He flew out of bed, heading straight for the bathroom. He made it in time to puke in the bowl. What the hell was wrong with him? His sweaty skin prickled with chills. He felt as if he had the worst hangover, except he’d only had one drink last night. Even though his mood had him wanting to down the entire bar. Dry heaves racked his body, causing what felt like knives stabbing the inside of his now empty stomach.
