However, luck smiled on me when I landed a job with a reputable firm. I was passionate about my work and took my responsibilities very seriously. My hard work and commitment didn't go unnoticed, and I was thrilled to receive my first promotion after successfully defending one of the company's most high-profile projects.

The feeling of accomplishment and pride that came with this achievement was overwhelming. I had proven to myself that I had what it took to excel in my chosen career, and this realization gave me the confidence to take on even greater challenges.

As I settled into my new role, I was introduced to a fresh team and a new workspace. That's where I met Lili, the firm's editor, and Susan, who shared my project supervising responsibilities. We quickly bonded over our shared determination and focus. Our camaraderie extended beyond the office, as we often went out together after work and explored new destinations during our vacations.

One day, during a meeting with our head supervising team, I met Felix - an intelligent, tall, and handsome individual who seemed to check all the boxes. I found myself drawn to him, but I was determined to keep my feelings subtle, avoiding any noticeable displays in front of our colleagues or even my close friends.

On Friday, after presenting my ideas for a new project, Felix approached me with a warm smile. My heart skipped a beat as he introduced himself. 'Hi, I'm Felix Adams,' he said. I replied, 'Daisy Cal.' Felix asked if he could call me 'D,' and I agreed, feeling a flutter in my chest.

Felix invited me to join him for a movie night the following evening. 'There's a new film showing at the cinema,' he said. 'Would you like to watch it with me?' I agreed, and we made plans for him to pick me up the next day. As we parted ways, Felix offered to drop me off in front of my house, and I accepted, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation.

As Felix dropped me off at my house, he asked, 'So, did you enjoy the movie?' I couldn't help but laugh. 'Enjoy' was an understatement – I had learned so much from it, and I couldn't help but feel for the protagonist, even though she was flawed. Felix and I shared a laugh, and I thanked him for making my evening so special.

Immediately I stepped into my house, I was greeted by my friends, Susan and Lili, who were eager to hear about my night. 'Spill it out, baby girl!' Susan exclaimed. I sat down and recounted every detail of my evening with Felix. Lili's eyes widened as she quickly searched for him on her phone. To my surprise, he was the CEO's son!

We all shrieked in surprise, and my friends congratulated me. 'I'm happy for you, baby girl!' they chimed. I couldn't believe my luck – it all felt like a dream. As I reflected on the events of the day, I wondered why my friends hadn't known Felix, despite having worked at the firm for over five years. I laughed to myself, realizing that he was not only handsome but also incredibly wealthy!

The next Monday, as I walked into the office, I spotted Felix emerging from the private VIP storeroom. We exchanged warm smiles, and he greeted me with, 'Hi, beautiful. Good morning.' We chatted briefly about my new project ideas before I headed to my office.

Later that day, I received a text from Felix, asking if I'd like to have lunch with him. I accepted, and we met at the VIP cafe. As we sat down to eat, I couldn't help but feel a spark of excitement – I had a feeling that this was just the beginning of something special.

Felix and I continued to spend more time together, it became a regular routine. I maintained my excellent work performance, and everything seemed to be falling into place.
