Weeks passed before he came back. She was pacing like a wild animal on all fours. Her clothes were torn, and there was food on the ceiling, walls and floors. She'd burned the curtains. Hayden watched her. His father told him she was too far gone. Then she growled telling them how dare they say that. They left her alone after that. Then one day she snapped and shifted. She broke through the windows and escaped. Hayden went after her but was stopped. Both were separated. His father told him that the bond would soon be severed. He didn't want to. But his father was adamant. He and his wolf were furious and heartbroken. Their mate was gone!
