CHAPTER 1: DIVORCE

Akira Braelynn's POV:

"Mom, Dad! How could you be so stupid!"

I keep playing it in my dairy recorder. I'm currently at school and talking to my Best friend while having lunch.

"Kahit yata ako brae magagalit sa anunsyo ng parents mo." Sabi ni Avery sa akin

"It's unbelievable Averly! Kung Nakita mo lang sana paano Silang ngiting-ngiti habang sinasabi nila sakin yon. I never expected it!"

"I don't understand too beshy. I always thought your parents has it's perfect marriage, like you know. Ni minsan hinde ko yata narinig sayo na nag aaway ang parents mo. Nag bakasyon panga sila Diba? To a romantic place like Paris."

"That! That stupid trip on Paris cause this all!" while slamming my both hands on our table.

Braelynn's flashback:

*At the dinning room*

*Last night*

"The Bartley's?! Who are they?!" kunot noo kong tanong ko sa kanila.

"The couple who went the same trip with us on Paris. They are desame age as us and we have a lot of things in common." my mom while smiling

"The four of us went almost together at the same places. Not long after your mother feel in love with Mr.Bartley and I did the same to Mrs.Bartley. "continued by dad.

"LOVE?" parang na bobo yata ako saglit sa definition nila ng love.

"Yes my dear , Love." sagot ni mommy sakin na hinde mabura-bura ang ngiti sa mukha.

"Napagalaman Namin na they feel the same way towards us. So we decided to have a heart to heart talk and in result we decided to switch partners and remarry." nakangiting kwento ni dad .

"Switch partners? You're gonna switch partners?! Please tell me it's a joke. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!" Hinde ako makapaniwala sa na re-rinig ko. Panaginip lang ba to? Utang na loob gisingin niyo na ako sa kabaliwan na to.

"I know it's shocking baby. But it doesn't mean we don't love each other anymore. Infact we still love each other a lot. At hinde yon magbabago."

Shocking?! Hinde lang to schocking !naka walang isip yata tong pinagsasabi ng mga magulang ko.

"Pero it's not a hot and passionate love. It was never really was." Sabay harap ni mom kay dad.

"Yes, and before we get married, it was like we are more on best friends than lovers." sabay harap Naman ni dad kay mom while putting his thumb on his chin .

Patuloy lang sila sa paguusap nila about love and relationships na kesyo wala naman daw talaga silang romantic feelings for each other. Para bang wala ako dito sa harapan nila at nag tatawanan pa sila. O God help me.

"STOP!" I slam my palms on our table na kinagulat nilang dalawa.

"Wala na ba talaga kayo sa tamang pag iisip?! Pakingan niyo nga yang pinagsasabi niyo! This is insane!"

"Really?" Sabay nilang walang gana na sagot.

"Pero Ngayon lang namin naramdaman ng dad mo ang ganito ka passionate na love when we meet the Bartley's. So forgive us Brae."

Flashback ends.

CLINGCK!

Tunog ng na yuyuping can ng coke.

"Did they really think I will forgive them like that?!"

CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

"Wow beshy Ang lakas mo Pala" palakpak na saad ni Averly sakin.

"Alam kung may pag ka weird talaga ang parents ko. But this is beyond ridiculous and crazy! And it's beyond my ability to forgive them!"

"Well swearte ka parin beshy, to have a cool parents like them. I really like them."

Saan ba talaga kakampi tong best friend ko. Ano bang cool sa divorce and switch partners.

"Well, hinde kasi ikaw ang nasa sitwasyon ko." Walang gana Kong sagot

"It's true Brae. It's much more better than my parents everyday. My parents marriage is in a mess and beyond repair. They are both having an affairs but they both refuse to file a Divorce . Yung dad ko ayaw niyang masira ang reputation niya at pag usapan ng mga tao. While mom has her financial reasons. How I wish they just ended it a long time ago. They never know how it felt for a kid to see your parents fighting and arguing almost everyday. That's why naisip ko, ayoko na rin siguro mag asawa." Malungkot na salaysay ni Averly sakin. Naawa ako sa sitwasyon ng best friend ko.

"Kaya ba ina-ayawan mo lahat ng mga lalaking ng liligaw sayo beshy?"

My best friend Avery is a bit popular among boys in our school. She is beautiful, graceful,smart at higit sa lahat mabait. Marami talagang nag hahabol sa kaniya. I never thought na ganito pala ka laki ang impact ng parents niya sa perspective niya about marriage.

"Huh? Hinde ah! Hinde ko lang talaga sila type. I have a healthy distressed about marriage but it doesn't mean that I don't date. Hehe"

"Hey Brae!" Tawag sakin ng isang lalaki sa malayo.

"Oh, Hi Zane." with matching wave hands.

"If you don't hurry ,you will be late for practice Brae."

"Sorry Zane. But I can't make it to practice today."

"How come Brae? Ever since hinde ka pumapalya ng practice." Takang tanong ni Averly kaya lumapit ako sa tinga niya para bumolong.

"I'm going for family dinner to meet the Bartley's. It's the only chance for me to convince them to stop this nonsense."

"Oh! I see." Patango-tangong sagot nibeshy sakin.

"What's the matter Brae? Do you have diarrhea or something?" Tanong ni Zane na nag tataka.

"That's gross Zane! I have some family matters to attend."

"Family matters? Did something bad happened Brae?"

"Nothing to worry about Zane. Paki Sabi nalang din sa iba huh. Bye!" Sabay takbo ko palayo sa kanila. Pero huminto ako saglit at lumingon sa kanila dahil nakalimotan Kong mag pasalamat.

"By the way ! Thank you for your help Zane, I'm going."

Nagpatuloy na ako sa pagtakbo palayo hangang sa marating ko ang school gate. Nakakahiya talagang ekwento sa iba ang naging upside down kong buhay ngayon except nalang Kai Averly dahil best friend ko naman siya and I trust her . Kailangan ko talaga silang mapigilan sa mga balak nila. I won't just stand and let them out beyond the normal decency.

"I will stop there plans!" I shout at the top of my lungs.

Ooppps! Nasa school grounds panga Pala ako at nag titingan ang mga studyante sakin.nakakahiya.
