{Nico’s pov} I saw the gun pressed to her throat. Saw her eyes widen. That was all it took. I moved faster than I thought. “Take them down,” I barked, voice flat and sharp. My men spread out instantly, shots cracking through the warehouse as they closed the circle. I didn’t watch them. I kept my eyes locked on Dante. He stood behind Elena, one arm wrapped tight around her, gun steady against her neck. His face was calm, but I could see the twitch in his jaw. His hand wasn’t as steady as he wanted it to be. He was cornered. He knew it. “Let her go,” I said quietly, stepping forward, my gun raised. He tightened his hold. “Take one more step, Moretti,” Dante hissed, “and I’ll put a bullet in her spine.” I stopped moving. My jaw clenched hard. I kept my aim locked on him. “You w
