“Be there in 20 minutes” Nate told the caller before he hung up, refusing to take his eyes off of me. He furrowed his eyebrows, causing frown lines to appear, as he desperately reached for my hands. “Come on, get up. We have to go” he told me frantically, urging me to get out of bed. What was going on? Was this to do with the attack? Truthfully, I’d never seen so much concern in Nate’s eyes before. But it wasn’t just that, it was anger too.
