The young girl’s beauty is astonishing to Prince Vaen. Perfect next to his perfection. Her face seemingly almost angelic, her fair skin glistening in the mist. The heat waves radiating off her were intoxicating. He knew it was his win, who could deny him...no one.
“Take her to the castle. Friend or foe she needs to rest and eat.” He quips to his guards.
Many of them smile as they knew he would pursue a conquest with her. All by shallow whispers of how he alone saved her life. That an imaginary threat was upon her sleeping body and he only rescued her virtue.
The news of the strange girl seems to spread amongst the troop. But as the guard carrying her got close to the small town just outside the castle, Slautourn comes barreling out of the forest, furious and forceful. Bound with death to whomever stops him.
“PUT HER DOWN!” he screams as he held his axe to a guard’s throat.
“Seize him!” Prince Vaen shrieks.
As the guardsmen took stance to fight the beastly man in front of them, Prince Caegh arrives upon his steed. Surveying the pending excitement and recognizing a familiar family cresent on the hilt of the axe of Slautourn.
“No bloodshed. It’s Brísingamen.” Caegh commands, blank stares met Prince Caegh “Prince Slautourn and Princess Vykirenia. You imbeciles!” he yells as he dismounts.
Slautourn starts lowering his axe but not his guard for death to whomever could hurt his sister. Caegh merely stretches out his hand in greeting. Slautourn grunts then clasps Caegh’s forearm while laying his own into Caegh’s hand. Then Caegh glares disapprovingly at Vaen, whom seem to refuse to hold out any hand or even acknowledge the gesture or greeting.
"I am not getting dirty." he whisper, "Proper greeting after he's cleaned."
Vaen silently curses in his head of the barbaric actions of a prince and who would unguard his sister, a princess. Nonetheless the princess he was to marry.
“I’m sorry I did not recognize you or your sister. Please forgive my ignorance.” Vaen ushers with no empathy.
Slautourn slowly launches into sheathing his axe into his side holsters. He then extends his arms out for his sister.
“She’s my sister. I’ll take the burden of her weight.”
The guard carrying Vykerinia slowly places her into the arms of Slautourn. A long exhale escapes from the guard. Slautourn grumbles and Caegh offers his horse but sees the head shake of denial. "You ride, your territory." Slautourn offers back. Slautorn could walk thousand of miles before breaking a horse by his weight.
Caegh and Vaen, lead the way to the castle on the rocks, Oweghyn. With its mighty spires stretching to the skyline. The enormous shelters that the upper town folks live in. The village below the castle is muddy, dirty and reeks of foul stench. The fisherman held out fish as the twins usher by. The townsfolk seem to tremble as they caught sight of Slautourn as he barbarically grazes by. Some even turn their backs or disappear quickly.
“They never have seen the likes of you.”
He heard Vaen chuckle "You will be the one story told tonight at their tables." Slautourn just grunts and powers through the mucky city.

Vykirenia became aware of her surrounding as she fought to be released. Then she saw her brother’s face “I can walk now!” she croaks. Shifting her head to see she is at her doom. The ever presence of a castle in her site, no longer in the forest but yet she could still smell the salty air. Her brother slowly lowers her into the muck. Her eyes absorbing the knights that surrounds them then her eyes roam to two majestic looking horses with identical human faces staring at her. The twins, the promisary agreement of marriage, her doom yet saviors.
Caegh and Vaen.
Her future laid in one of their hands, their decisions, and their ability to protect. She had somehow found the twin princes of Oweghyn.
