"A mother to his child? you're joking right?" Kaira asked, shaking her head. "Let's take back the deal, I'll go back to prison I can't__"

"Shut up kaira, just shut up.Is that all you're going to say? After getting you out of that hell hole?" Aunt Kathy yelled, closing her eyes.

"I'm the mother figure you never had and it's my decision take it or leave it." Aunt Kathy walked out as tears rolled down kaira's cheeks.

"How's she doing? by the way I called Gina. she's on her way here." Khloe said as ken turned to look at her.

"Before you yell at me, this is also my house." Khloe said, looking at him with daring eyes. Khloe and Gina practically grew up as sister's, they've shared so many things together and had once dated twin brothers so when Gina had gotten pregnant for Ken it was the greatest news Khloe had ever received.

"I know it's also your house just try to get good grades on your exams else Kim would be on your neck." they laughed over it, shaking their heads as the door bell dinged.

"Gina must be here, excuse me I'll be with her."

"So what are you going to do? Gina seems to be coming around too often lately." Susan said, placing some files on the table. "By the way you have a meeting with the governor tomorrow so when should I arrange__"

"Make sure you set a dinner date with kaira tomorrow,I want to officially meet her and make our relationship official." he replied as Susan sighed.

"Why are you imposing this relationship on her?" she asked as he picked his pipe up.

"That's my business. good night."

"Is Ken in? I need to see him." Gina said, cuddling Xena in her arms as the little girl slept peacefully.

"Yeah,but__"

"That'll be all Susan, I'll just see him briefly." Susan nodded, walking towards the opposite direction.

"She's asleep." Gina said lowly, placing Xena on the soft couch. "I can see, why are you still here?"

"You really can't wait to get rid of me," she scoffed, biting her lips. "Why do you hate me so much I mean we've known each other for a very long time and your sister and I are best friends__"

"Cut the crap Gina and get out. Besides there's no need for you to come over anymore. I was going to keep this information till tomorrow but I'm so excited. I'm responsible for the release of Kaira underwood." Gina gasped,her eyes locking with his as she moved swiftly towards him.

"Why?" she asked, looking at Xena.

"What if she comes for my daughter? what if_"

"Now you don't get to question me and Xena is mine and mine alone remember the tape? all the recordings?"

"I was drunk when I did that, totally drunk. you just used that as an evidence against me in court to get my daughter away from me."

Ken took the office line and punched a few buttons. The next minute,two hefty guards walked in as Gina laughed dryly.

"You called your guards on me? how pathetic."

"Don't be gentle with her." he growled as the led Gina out of the office.

★GOVERNOR'S OFFICE★

"It's really nice to see you again governor Cuomo." Ken said, shaking hands with him as they exchanged pleasantries.

"Same likewise." the governor replied as they walked towards the chairs. "I know you're responsible for the release of Kaira underwood, why'd you do that?" governor Cuomo had a dark look in his eyes as his tightened his fists.

The governor had lost one of his allies in that hotel and had been the first to press charges against her.

"Yes, do you have a problem with that?" Ken asked,a bitter smile playing on his face. "There's nothing you can do about it,I can make you lose your position so let that issue slide." he replied as the governor scoffed.

"So what's your plan? it's really funny how I'm the governor but a mere mayor is the master to my office and activities."

"Next time, choose a master you can trample upon,not me. my family name speaks power so this is it. I want kaira's name out of the city's black book and I want the inspector to arrange for a media outreach or whatever and tell the masses that it was a mistake or set up and that kaira was also a victim." governor Cuomo gasped, chuckling loudly.

"You really don't expect__" he kept shut the moment he noticed the dark look on ken's face.

"What will I tell them? how will I convince them?"

Chuckling out loudly,he stood up and walked over to the door.

"That's up to you." he walked out and met Susan halfway to the car.

"You're doing so much for a woman you don't love." Susan countered, clicking her tongue.

"Love is just a word,no one feels it for the opposite gender except it's for your family relations. everyone is just horny." he replied as she started the car.

"We're dropping at Dolce and Gabbana store,I need a change of clothes." Susan just scoffed then drove through the parking lot of the store.

"Make it ten minutes Ken, don't keep a lady waiting."

"You look beautiful darling, it's just three months not three decades." Aunt Kathy replied curtly as she led kaira out of the bedroom.

"Try not to look tensed,try to be calm. he's human,not an alien." Aunt Kathy reprimanded.

"it's not everyday you go on a date with a man who's ready to eat you right on the table."

"Careful kaira the walls have ears." kaira chuckled, shaking her head.

"You're beginning to sound fetish like we the hindus, it's great aunt." just then,the honking of the car resounded from outside.

"He's here, just see him as a shield because Killian is still out there, he'll hunt you my baby he'll do anything and everything to get you."

"Aunt there's something you're not telling me, you're hiding something from me, tell__"

"Mr Kenney Macbeth is here, come on he's waiting." kaira looked at her aunt as she slowly walked out. something is wrong somewhere, what happened in the past three months? why's Killian after her?
