You look beautiful." Ken said, pulling the car door wider for her to slide in. "Thanks." she replied curtly, making sure to avoid contact with him.

"Susan, shall we?" he said, keeping his eyes on kaira as the car sped off. "Did you eat lunch?" he asked, as she nodded.

"Yeah,I did. thanks." she said lowly as he smiled. "Kaira, you should feel free around me." she chuckled, turning to look at him.

"it's not everyday I sit next to__" she sighed, turning her head away to look out of the window.

"You must detest me to a fault, well too bad for you, we're stuck together." Ken replied, moving closer to her. "We should consumate our relationship here, what do you think? my little indian goddess." He drawled, pushing a lock of hair away from her face.

"Why did you save me?" she asked, trying not to sound like a frightened kitten but her insides were vibrating. "Let's just say I believe you're innocent." he replied curtly, smiling at her as she scoffed.

"I turned you down on so many occasions, I rejected your compliments,i__"

"And I endured all those for a reason." he said coldly,his nice facade falling to ashes beside them.

"Reason?" she asked lowly,her eyes glazing with unshed tears. Her thoughts ran wild as she thought of the possible reasons why ken would save her. Or was he responsible for what happened?

"You bastard! you did it on purpose so I'd run to you for help,no. you knew my aunt was fragile,you knew she'd do anything to save her little niece and you jumped on her like an hungry animal. you devoured her and__ and made this silly arrangements you call a marriage!" he wasn't smiling, his eyes had gone darker and his fists threatened to move on their own accord.

Susan really wanted to lecture kaira about her mouth. it took nothing for Ken to beat her to stupor and call 911 saying they'd been attacked. Working for him for so many years had made her see his tough side but she'd never seen his weakness.

"You're getting married to this bastard this weekend and you're also becoming a mother this weekend it's your call,you move along with the flow or go back to your hell hole."

"it's pissing me off already,who does he think he is to call the guards on me?" Gina asked, puffing the cigarette as smoke filled the room.

"He got her out huh? even after she turned him down so many times?" Gina scoffed, chuckling loudly.

"You said you had everything under control,you said you'd do everything to make sure she rots there and then get her wealth for yourself. that was the plan Killian!"

"Oh yeah that was the plan but I changed it when she didn't agree to sign the documents willingly. she was still having a second thought about making me the MD of the Companies,so I did something." he smiled and looked towards the door.

"And so I forged her signature after stealing a few of her useless documents. Don't ask me how I did it,I just did it." Yassi said, rolling her eyes.

"Well it seems your plans we're perfect but mine? it was shattered. He asked the governor to erase her names from the black books and trust me I know Ken. He'll dig deeper into this issue."

"Too bad he won't find anything." Yassi replied, smiling devilishly. "What do you mean? Ken has connections,he has the money to get whatever he wants and now she's going to be his wife." Gina said angrily, standing on her feet.

"He's going to make her the mother of my child__"

"The child you hate? the child you rejected? humor me that." Yassi countered, laughing hysterically.

"We just need to know every plan Ken has,we have to be one step ahead of him in order to get her out of the picture once and for all." Gina said as they all nodded.

"So do you have anything in mind? any ideas on how to go about this?"

"Of course, Khloe is the perfect person. she'll definitely detest kaira and I'll slowly poison her heart to make her do everything terrible to kaira. if we cannot take her out of the picture, Khloe will do it." Gina said, walking over to the window.

"I know Khloe,she's goal driven but fragile." she turned to look at them "I'll be the backbone to her cruel ways once she starts,no finger would be pointed at us, just his darling little sister." she smirked evilly.

"Good evening Mr Macbeth, this way." the waitress said,her eyes solely on Kaira. The disgusted look didn't leave her face despite her forced smile.

"You're fired." was all he said as the waitress gasped. Kaira looked back at the waitress then at Ken. "Why'd you do that? you fired her without being the owner of the restaurant." She continued but her words were falling on deaf ears.

She probably didn't know Ken as well as she thought she knew him. He pulled out a chair for her and made her sit down.

"You don't get to question me Kaira, I'll do the questioning." he replied, clicking his tongue.

"All these are for you." he continued, looking into her eyes. "I've never done this before, never taken a girl on such expensive date, I've never prepared so much for a lady." he chuckled and for the first time she saw his looks, his good looks. she saw him for the man he is and not for the beast she knew him as.

"What then did you do to get the mother of your child?" Kaira asked, digging into her food.

"Nothing, you're beginning to sound jealous. it's just a fling,she rejected the baby." replied as she scoffed.

"Jealous of whom? Gina Umberto?" she chuckled and shook her head. "No,I cannot be jealous of her. Get on with what you want to do." she replied, looking into his eyes.

He slid his hands into his pocket and drew out a red velvet box. He passed it to her and c****d his brows.

"Slid it on,I got you an engagement ring." she chuckled, caressing the box.

"You really know next to nothing about proposing or making a woman feel beautiful and appreciated." she rolled her eyes and opened the box as she gasped.

The ring sparkled,it had a huge diamond stone with rubies surrounding it. It looked more like the ring of an enchantress.

"I see you're impressed, I designed it. I love my woman looking beautiful and dolled up." she looked at him, nodding slowly.

"it's beautiful." she whispered as he took the ring and slid it through her finger.

"This is the seal of our engagement. we'll have a huge party after our marriage and then you can return to work." he said, standing on his feet.

He walked over to her and bent a little, kissing her fully on her lips,his hands gently caressing her neck.

"That's the seal." he broke off the kiss and returned to his seat,not making eye contact with her. They continued to eat in silence until Susans call came through.

"Xena is burning up again, and Gina is trying to take her away.
