With a funny voice, Logan said, "Now, now, tell me who has made my little angel upset?"
He asked his daughter and upon hearing his words, Bella pouted, "It's not like papa will be able to do anything about it so why should little angel bother telling papa about it!"
She said and hearing that, Logan then sighed as he gently placed her down.
With that he bent down slowly to meet the height of his daughter as he asked, "Tell me why your sad my angel and I promise to take away that sadness in a blink of an eye!"
He said softly and hearing that, Bella hesitated a little before she then voiced out, "It's Mama!"
She called out and hearing that, Logan furrowed his brows slightly as he asked, "What about mama? Did something happen while I was at work?" He asked.
As Bella shakes her head slightly before she then explained, "Today was supposed to be bringing your mother to school day and when I told mama about it she agreed to follow me to school but then this morning she said she had some important work to do and that she would come meet me at school!"
Little Bella explained as she then paused slightly before she continued with tears flowing down her eyes.
"I waited for her but she didn't come, all my classmates came except mine and my classmates teased me about it. They said that my Mama doesn't love me and that this wasn't the first time she promised and failed, Papa! Do you think they're saying the truth? Does Mama really hate me?"
As tears fell down from her eyes, Logan felt like a knife had just pierced into his heart as he witnessed his daughter cry.
Taking hold of her hands, Logan kissed it softly as he said calmly, "I'm sure mommy had something very important to do for her to forget about, your mommy doesn't hate you, she loves you very much and will always do. Don't Listen to any bad things those kids have to say ok?"
"They are all just jealous of you, after all little Bella is Lucky. Do you know why?" He asked.
"Because her papa is the alpha lord and her mama is the moon Luna!" She said with a small, faint smile.
"That's right!" Saying that, Logan then pulled his daughter in for a hug as he patted her softly.
"Where are you Rena?"
_______________
After tucking Bella to sleep, Logan then went on ahead to freshen up as he ate his dinner afterwards.
With that all set, he then went to his room. He was a little tired but he couldn't help but look at the Time.
It was already so late, but yet, Rena wasn't back home, where was she? And what was she doing so late in the night?
Logan was already getting a little angry, it was unlike her coming home so late.
Meanwhile,
Driving towards the Black Villa was a black Bugatti Veyron and emerging from the back seat of the car was a rather beautiful woman.
After waving her friend off, the woman the drunkenly Made her way towards the huge Mansion.
As the night wore on, the woman stumbled her way into a grand mansion, her movements unsteady and her laughter echoing through the opulent halls.
She was adorned in a deep red wine dress that clung to her body, revealing her curves with every step she took.
The fabric shimmered under the soft glow of the chandeliers, accentuating her intoxicating allure.
Her brown, cascading locks flowed down her back, framing her face with a natural elegance. Her long hair swayed with each movement, adding an air of mystery to her presence.
Her eyes, a mesmerizing shade of blue, mirrored the vastness of a clear sky on a summer's day.
They held a depth that seemed to draw people in, as if they were gazing upon a reflection of their own desires.
Despite her inebriation, her beauty remained untouched, radiating from within.
Her flushed cheeks and playful smile only added to her charm, making her all the more enchanting.
The grace with which she moved, even in her intoxicated state, hinted at a hidden strength and confidence that lay beneath her delicate appearance.
As she made her way through the mansion, her laughter echoed through the grand hallways, captivating the attention of those around her (maids).
And she was no one other than Rena, The wife of the Alpha CEO "The Moon Luna"
__________
Walking into her room was Rena and upon seeing her, Logan quickly stood up as he walked towards her.
Logan then walks closely beside his drunken wife, his face etched with anger.
His steps are heavy, matching the weight of his emotions.
He can't help but feel a surge of frustration as he wonders why she had come home late and inebriated once again.
The lines on his forehead deepen, reflecting his growing resentment. His mind races with questions, searching for answers that may provide some solace.
The air around them is heavy with tension, as his anger intertwines with concern for her well-being.
"Why are you back late and drunk upon it all?" He asked angrily.
And hearing that, Rena tried to steady herself as she said, "I-I am n-not back late, I'm just.. I mean, I just lost track of time, nothing more!"
She said as she walked towards her bed as she slowly removed her clothes and upon seeing that, Logan couldn't contain his anger.
This wasn't the first time she had acted in such a way, for the past two months she had been coming home late and now she was drinking until she was wasted.
And let's not forget the fact that she wore such revealing clothes even as a married woman.
Trying his best to contain his anger, Logan said, "Today you were supposed to follow Bella to school as it was her school's bring your mother to school day but after promising her, you failed to fulfill your promise and here you are coming home all drunk, what if she had seen you like this?"
"What would she have thought of you?" Logan shouted.
And hearing that, Rena also shouted, "She would have probably thought of me as her barren mother who couldn't even fulfill her duty of having an heir for her husband talk less of fulfilling her promise!"
Rena said and hearing that, Logan was taken aback as tears fell down from Rena's eyes.
"How do you expect me to fulfill my promise to Bella if I can't even fulfill the promise I made to all our pack the day we took our vows… how can I call myself a mother or your wife 'The Moon Luna' when I can't even give you an heir Logan!"
She cried out as she fell down slowly on the ground and hearing her words, silent tears fell from Logan's eyes.
He never knew what pain Rena had been feeling all these years. Although he had tried to let her know that all was well he had completely abandoned the fact that the voice of the people would ring into her ears.
They had been married for eight years and she has been unable to give birth to his on, his heir and it was more than an abomination if a moon Luna isn't fruitful.
___
In the dimly lit room, Logan stood tall, his face etched with concern and compassion. He approached Rena, who was seated on the cold, hard ground, her tear-stained face cradled in her trembling hands. Her sobs echoed through the room, a symphony of anguish.
With gentle steps, he closed the distance between them, his heart heavy with empathy. Kneeling down beside her, he extended his hand, his touch as tender as a feather's caress.
His fingers found solace on her trembling back, tracing a soothing path to provide a momentary respite from her pain.
His touch conveyed a myriad of emotions - love, understanding, and unwavering support. As he patted her back, his palm seemed to absorb the weight of her sorrow, offering her an anchor in this sea of despair.
With each stroke, he whispered words of comfort, his voice a soft melody amidst the chaos.
He stayed by her side, a steadfast presence in her storm, knowing that his touch alone couldn't mend the wounds that plagued her soul.
But still, he persisted, his touch a testament to his unwavering commitment to her well-being.
In that moment, the room seemed to shrink, the world outside fading into insignificance.
It was just the two of them, bound by a love that transcended the pain, the mistakes, and the darkness.
And as he continued to pat her back, a glimmer of hope emerged, like a fragile bud breaking through the cracks of despair.
And as her cries gradually softened, replaced by a fragile calmness, she realized that even in her darkest moments, she had him by her side, patting her back with unwavering love and a promise to weather any storm together.
