[Nayla's POV] I was in a circle clearing in the midst of a daffodil meadow. The sky was clear and cloudless, but it wasn't hot. I was on my back, the scent of grass and earth all over me. There were a few trees overhead, but I could see a lot of sky, like an endless dome, beckoning. I squinted to blot out some of the light from the sun. My skin was bare, but the ground felt like expensive carpet. I closed my eyes. I felt strong steady hands stroke my cheeks gently. "It's okay," The voice was gentle; familiar yet foreign. It was a man's voice. Normally I would have bolted, but the feeling that embraced me seem to have tamed all my senses. A wave of tenderness ran through my body like warm, liquid sea foam.
