Daisy I tried to keep it together until Olivia and Wyatt excused themselves to go to bed but it was hard. Really really hard. As soon as their house had fallen into silence , I had slipped out the back door and headed down onto the sandy beach. It was chilly , the fine grains cold under my bare feet. Different to the tropical paradise where I had first met my mates. And they were my mates, I might not be able to shift into a Siren , my blood might be too diluted but there was some part of me that was still a shifter. And shifters has mates. Mason and Aden were mine. There was no denying it anymore. They were mates that I couldn’t please. I would never be enough for them. The very thought of it caused my will to crumble. Tears fell from my eyes as I stumbled forward in the darkness.
