I didn’t regret the words. Even though I had said I would never treat her like a submissive just the day before. She wanted us to take control I could tell. I knew when someone was running from themselves and Daisy was definitely running.
She was scared I got that.
But I wasn’t going to let her run. Not from this. Not from us.
I caught Aden’s eyes over her head. She seemed frozen to the spot. A literal deer in the head lights. “Daisy.” Aden took a step forward , his fingers reaching for and I stopped him with a growl, shaking my head.
Daisy’s eyes flicked up to me.
“Don’t touch her Aden.” I ordered. I softened my tone with the smallest of smiles but the smile wasn’t for him, it was aimed totally at Daisy. “Let her make her own decision.”
