Chapter 18

I was home asleep because I was extremely tired. Mom and I have been planning Cece's Surprise baby shower because we've found out what kinda baby she is having. She wanted it to be a surprise so we will give her a surprise at her baby shower. She has 3 more months before labor. She started going to pregnancy classes and she wants me to join her.

Dad still hasn't found out about it yet, and mom was postponing it until after the baby shower which is a week from now. I have already gotten the decorators. Invitations have already been handed out. If you weren't invited then too bad for you...

Daniel and I decided today to make all the other necessary preparations TODAY because the guys were going on a business trip to Cancun for 4 days. That means, by the time they were back it would be time for the baby shower.

I was getting dressed at the moment. I let my red hair fall loose accessorizing with a straw fedora, then walked into my closet taking out a white zip front blouse, a teal jeans and black combat boots. Teal has become my new favorite color. I got dressed in the outfit then I added a gold chain, a cute turquoise ring and a teal braided chain bracelet and gold hoop earrings.

After I got dressed I packed my cream MK bag with purse, keys, lipstick, phone, notepad other necessities. I then made my way to the kitchen where I got out a yogurt and disposable spoon as I wait on Daniel. As I took a seat on the sofa, the doorbell rang indicating that Dan was here. I rolled my eyes picking up my bag and yogurt in the other hand and the spoon in my mouth I opened the door.

Daniel had a huge smile on his face, I shook my head because that smile could only indicate one thing. He got some. Rolling my eyes I locked up the house and made my way towards Daniel's Royce that I absolutely disliked and sat in the passenger seat continuing to eat my yogurt.

"Where to?" he asked.

"Neiceee's Bakery" I mumbled. I had to go to choose the cake that I wanted for Cece's baby shower.

He parked at the front of the shop while I hopped out, making my way towards the door not before disposing of the finished yogurt.

"How's business?" I asked because the guys never tell me about their work. Honestly, why would they hide it from us when I already know what they do for a living. He completely ignored me walking towards the girl at the front.

"I called about a cake for a baby shower" I informed her. She looked in a book then looked at me.

"Hampton?" she asked. I nodded. “Please come this way Mr. & Mrs" she said with a smile.

"He's my brother, it’s his girlfriend's baby shower" I corrected. She nodded as we followed her. There were some pictures on a table with two seats.

"Please look at these photos and decide how you want the cake to look and when you’re through Mrs. Campbell will be right with you" she said before walking away.

We sat and analyzed the photos. Cece was having a girl, so we needed the best cake they had but all the cakes looked amazing. This would be hard as hell. I hope that my cakes would look even cuter.
