"I'm sorry," she cried. "I wish I could go back into time and change things. I regret it!" She then turned to me, and her eyes were pleading for my forgiveness. "I'm sorry, Rose. I really am. I thought you only wanted to be with my brother for the money. I realized that I was wrong when it was too late. Please, forgive me."
Damon slapped his hand on the table, taking me off guard.
"Dammit," he whispered as tears fell out of his eyes. My heart broke at the sight of him crying, all I wanted to do right now was pull him in a hug.
"Damon," I whispered as a tear fell out of my eye. "Please."
He snapped his head over to Alley.
"Damon, please forgive me. I'm so sorry," Alley pleaded.
Damon's eyes grew hard as he stared at her. "Sorry won't change what you did to us."
