I was torn from my thoughts when I heard the front door opened. I gulped and my hands started to shake.
I didn't know why I'm afraid. Maybe it's because Damon isn't with me.
The footsteps started to get louder, could it possibly be Damon? I grew more nervous when the footsteps started coming towards my room.
I looked around me and saw a lamp right near me. I Immediately grabbed it and took a deep breath.
The footsteps stopped right in front of my door. The door knob turned and the door slowly opened.
When the door finally opened, I sighed out of relief. There by the door was Lexi.
"Rose! You're awake! Are you ok?" She asked, walking closer to me.
I nodded my head and engulfed her in a tight hug.
"I'm ok. I'm glad you're here." I stated.
She smiled and pulled away.
