With no other options on the table, I grudgingly agreed to work as Nathan's personal assistant, leaving our son to the care of the maids. It wasn't an ideal situation, considering that our son is only days old, but that's what Nathan wants. I followed Nathan to work, and my office is opposite his office. I was at the office, when my phone rang, it was Nathan calling. "Hello" I said "I want you to come to my office now" He said, his voice cool and detached. With a deep breath, I hung up the call and I made my way to Nathan's office. I sat down opposite him "Welcome to Creamies Company and welcome to being my personal assistant" "Thank you" "Let's maintain the Boss to workers relationship at work and Wife to husband relationship at home, you understand?" I nodded, "Of course, Nathan, professionalism is key" "And I want to discuss something with you, a boss and a worker discussion" "Alright, I am listening boss" "I want you to take revenge on Ryan, by making the FL company ruin, I remembered when he was interviewed, then he was the one handling the company, so they asked who is strength was, I remembered he said 'Thank you to my beautiful wife, who have been my strength and she has been the one helping me' you helped him and you can ruin him, you know that?" "Yes, I helped him in some aspects, but the FL company was running before I got married to him. I don't think there's a need to do that.

"But remember what he did to you, the way he discarded you like trash, you need to do same to him" I bit my lip, my emotions swirling. "I was hurt" I finally said, my voice thick with emotion. He opened his mouth to respond, but closed it again. "I love you, I wouldn't have married you, if I didn't love you Rachel" He finally said.

"Well, I believe, so what do you want us to do to Ryan, you know I will do whatever you want me to do to him" "We are having a presentation tomorrow, you would be the one to present, Ryan would be present too, and he would also wants to present, I knew he wouldn't be able to withstand seeing you" The next day, I stood in front of the large conference room, feeling a knot of nerves in my stomach. I was told that Ryan would be here, and the thought of seeing him has been in my heart, even me, I am not sure if I would be able to present well if I set my eyes on him. As I began my presentation, I caught a glimpse of him in the audience, he was shocked. I continued, ignoring the tightness in my chest, determined to get through this. As I finished the presentation, the room erupted in applause, and I saw Nathan's satisfied smile in the crowd. Ryan came forward to present.

Ryan's face had turned a sickly shade of pale. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Everyone was shocked and people were complaining that it wasn't once but twice that this had happened to him. After ten minutes, and he couldn't say a word, he went to sit down, disappointed. The conference host spoke. "I am sorry everyone, we would be postponing this" Nathan raised his hand, and he said, "This date was discussed and accepted by everyone, it was even Mr. Ryan that accepted it first, so why should it be postponed?" Everyone supported him, and the postponement was canceled.
