My friend’s son is eligible and the perfect match for you. we’ve promise each other back then that once we meet and have our own children, we will let them marry as a union of families.” Shery’s father announced one Sunday evening. “What?” Shery in a shock state. “But Pa, why me?” how could you decide with my life and not to mention it’s my marriage life ... It’s my life, my happiness.” she said in disappointment and holding her tears. “Shery don’t say that, your sister was too young to get married.” why don’t you meet him and know him instead, then decide after if you really don’t like him. I know it is your life, but I want you to try.” Her father said hoping she might oblige to.

“Shery! Come out now they’re here.” Shery’s father.
After the confrontation that day, the day came were Sherys afraid of. “Ma, for God’s sake I told you already I already have a boyfriend and a fiancé now. Once his available he will meet you both with his parent. But right now, we were both busy with our own works, so we don’t have time and for me to introduce him. And I won’t accept this marital arrangement Ma please.” Shery said begging to her mother.
Shery doesn’t have a choice but to follow her mother. She goes down together with her mother. Along the stairs they heard the happy conversation reminiscing their past. From where they were, ...you can sense their happiness, they chuckled like a respectable person.
“Oh, ... they’re you are...Sherys father said. “I want you meet my daughter Shery and my wife Fiona. Shery’s father said introducing proudly to his long-time best friend. Shery shake the hands of Mr. Bonie. “Good evening Sir.” Shery said in respond. “Good evening dear, my son just steps outside, he will come out soon”

“Pa, how can I marry a person without even knowing what kind of person she was.?” Nebur said while stirring and analyzing. “You will meet her first, then I will let you decide after. his father said.

Shery was shock when she saw the person coming. “Sir thank you for letting me use your washroom.” “Shery?” he said as I’m also surprise for what’s happening. “I lived here.” She said with a light heart, knowing that the person she is about to, in an arrange marriage was in fact her boyfriend. “wait, do you know each other? Mr. Fernan said, also is surprise for their reaction. “we’ll I guess we don’t have to worry of something which in fact was nothing from the start.” He said with a smile “then what are we waiting for, lets decide for the date of their church wedding.” Everyone In the room were happy for the good news.

“congratulation Lenny!” Shery said “thank you Shy” and sorry that we say our I Do before you” Lenny said. “hey, it is okay…marriage life is not a competition. If we love each other then everything else will follow.” Shery said convincing herself. “care for a walk, to lessen what we eat”. Nebur said.
“who would think they will end up couple.” Nebur said. “will fate, destiny, soulmate and whatsoever you going to call it, if their meant for each other they will meet anyway…” shery said.
One year later...
Bay, the baby is awake, can you take her please. I’m not yet done with the dishes. Shery said while washing the dishes.
“hello my dear daughter” Nebur said taking his daughter from the crib.
