Episode 4:

“Thank you for the food and for sending me home.” Shery told Nebur when they’re in front of Shery’s older sister house.  “the pleasure is mine” Nebur said. “Now you go inside and rest, for sure your tired today for the long hours plus in addition for the sale promotion happening in the mall. I’ll pick you up tomorrow. Goodnight." Nebur said with sincerity. “okay, goodnight and take care. See you tomorrow.” Then turning back heading by each other’s way with the smile on their faces...

“Mr. Fanares...you’re the man!!!” ... Hubert gladly said to his best friend. Nebur smile in respond...” Finally, you catch the goddess on earth…” well I’m so happy for you my friend.”  “Thank you, Hubert,”, honestly, I can’t believe myself she accepted me. As far as I know she had a lot of suitors” he said in wariness but proud for the effort that it didn’t go to waste. Coz he knows to himself that his in love to Shery that comes to the point that no matter what, he should be his girlfriend that lead to become his wife someday. Thinking and daydreaming for these thoughts.

Whilst...

Shery is humming while arranging her items on the shelves and didn’t notice Lenny coming. “Shy? are you in love...? No! let me rephrase that, do you have a boyfriend?” Lenny is interrogating Shery in exaggeration.  Shery just smile as a confirmation. “and who is this unlucky guy?” Lenny is mocking Shery while tickling her side. “Stop it! Our Supervisor might see us, and both of us might be punish for disciplinary action.” Saying this by defending herself to be tickle again... then Lenny stop and seriously asks Shery again for her curiosity. “Shy, who’s the Adonis (a very handsome young man loved by Aphrodite) of your life now.” Lenny pout her lips in annoyance for Shery didn’t answer her directly. “you don’t know him... laughing for the reaction of Lenny’s face. “or you might know him, but why are you eager to know?” giggling and teasing Lenny. “because...” pouting again like a pity child asking for mommy a candy... “you already had one while for me, no one’s love me...hu hu...” Lenny jokingly crying. “you had a lot of suitors, yet you didn’t have the chosen one?” Shery said. “No way, they’re not Rudney.” Lenny voice out Rudney’s name proudly. Her ultimate crush. Shery burst out laughing that caught the attention of their Superior... “were you working or just chatting during duty hours? Their Supervisor said with authority. Both shut and giggling...

Outside the Employees entrance door, Nebur is waiting patiently for Shery the usual. His duty hours are 10:00 am to 7:00pm while Shery 11:am to 8:00pm (normal duty), after his shift he directly changes his uniform and straight ahead to the mall to pick up Shery. sometimes if her shift is early or no event in the mall, they’ll grab dinner before going home like today. Both headed to their favorite restaurant. Juan Continental Cuisine-the 1970’s architectural design, luxurious seaside balcony ideal for a romantic event or occasion. The couple always seated in the balcony corner table a peaceful and a non-crowded part of the restaurant.

Here’s your order Sir...and... She...Shery!?...what are you doing here? I mean...who is he? Rudneys shock and surprised seeing Shery in the restaurant with another guy... “Rudney? what are you doing here? Did you transfer here? Aren’t you working in Bar and Café?” Shery is shock for the incident.

Episode 5: jealousy...

“Rudney? what are you doing here? Did you transfer here? Aren’t you working in Bar and Café?” Shery is shock for the incident. She didn’t expect to see Rudney in the restaurant and saw her with another guy...Shery somewhat guilty for having a boyfriend without telling her best friend. Rudney has been her best friend since middle school.” Oh...I’m having a part time job here a friend asks a favor if I am available, so here I am...” he said staring at the guy while placing the food they order. “okay?!...Extra income ha...” Shery said trying to calm herself. Shery is about to introduce Nebur to him when suddenly the customer from the other call him for assistance... “She I have to go talk to you soon, glad to see you... bye” he turned without waiting for Shery’s reply. “okay talk to...” the only word she said in low voice as Rudney can’t hear her anymore...

While in contrary to Nebur whose staring and observing the whole time unable to speak a word as he is in a state of wonder and has a lot to question or wants to interrogate Shery regarding the scene. “Let’s eat.” Shery said. That brings back Nebur to reality. Shery didn’t bother to tell Nebur, coz she is also in a state of confusion how to tell or explain or to whom. Then came out the decision ---to go with the flow---

Nebur reach home but still thinking of the scenario...and asking himself...Is he her ex-boyfriend? With this thought Nebur feel pain inside that he cannot explain. Shery is his first girlfriend and everything that is happening were all his first. He treasures Shery to keep and no one can grab and take it away from him.

“Shery! Come down here, Rudney is looking for you.” Mina called Sherys sister. “Ha? ...” why a sudden visit? It’s been a while that he didn’t hung out with me, ever since both of us has its own job its seldom for us even to talk with each other.  Asking herself... She goes down even she is thinking this way after all it is her best friend and she cannot afford to ignore him. “hey, long time no see...” giggling for what she said as they just meet a couple of hours ago in the restaurant. “what brings you here?” ...  “well it just that were not hanging out anymore so now I’m here.” He said frankly to Shery. “and who’s that guy?... he continues... “sssshhh!” sashing him to lower his voice, Shery is afraid that her sister might heard. “why?... he said. “okay, okay...i will tell you just lower your voice and listen okay” ... she said in annoyance. “he’s my boyfriend.” She said. “WHAT! ... since when? I mean... okay...great...? Rudneys reacting weirdly and he even didn’t why he ask and said it...does it mean that he like Shery. and his reaction is an evidence of confirmation. He didn’t understand his feeling as well.

After the visit of Rudney Shery was somehow relieve that she already told her best friend, but she was confused for what she saw in the eyes of Rudney, sadness, disappointment and betrayal? They’ve been friends since middle school and somehow, she thought she already know him.

“tell Laura I love her” Rudney is singing with the jukebox, sitting at the Bar with some beer in his table.
