The Elf Mate

Chapter 2

                Jayden's POV 

       My friends and I are heading to lunch."Umm, Jay, Rya and I have something to tell you", Maddie says."What is it", I say."We found our mates!", Maddie says squealing."Really, who?", I ask happy for them."The two new boys that were clinging to that new girl", Rya says in disgust."Rya that new girl is my mate", I say angirly. Everyones' jaw drops." What, why didn't you tell us!", Rya says frustrated."Well I was going to but I didn't really get the chance", I say."Okay guys settle down lets just grab lunch and then talk about it, I'm hungry", Nic says." Fine", Rya and I say in usion.We head into the cafateria and all of us say "MATE". All of our mates look at us. The boys glare at us and trao the girls inbetween them. Nic, Jer, and I give out a low growl as we start heading towards them. The boys stand up and put the girls over their shoulders and head towards the exit. Me and the guys run after them with the girls right behind us." Arthur put me down!", I hear my mate yell. Wait I didn't even know my mates' name." No we're going home Aliena", the kid Arthur says. We turn the corner and we see their beautiful eyes. My mates' eyes are a midnight blue while Nics' is lavender and Jers' is blue with some red. Jers' mate flips us off and they all just disappear."Why are our mates touching other girls!", Rya and Maddie say in usion."Jay we have to find them", Nic says." I know and since we're here lets go now", I say and everyone nods. We head out of the school doors and start sniffing for our mates. 

        We get to a park that's on a restricted area and we all gasped at the sight we saw. They were all in a pool playing around. My mate was on Arthurs' shoulders in a bikini and he's in swim trunks."Jay, help me with Nic he's going to kill that kid!", Jer says restraining Nic. I look over and see Nics' mate on top of the other guys shoulders. Nic, Rya, Maddie, and Icharge at them. They quikly get out of the pool and run in different directions. Nics' mate jumps into the pool  and turns invisible? Ryas' mate jumps into a tree with my mate in his arms. I growled at the sight. Maddies' mate jumps into the sky and does the same that Nics' mate did. Jers' mate jumps into a fire pit and turns into ash. After we couldn't find their scnets anywhere. We gave up and went home.

                                Rya's POV

            "Why would our mates be all over those other girls!", I yelled furiously." Are they even human?", Jer asks. We all stop for a second to think about what Jer just said." No one just disappears like that. Do we know anyone that knows about disappearing?", Nic asks." The library maybe", Maddie says to us like we're stupid." Alright then the library it is then", Jay says. We all head to the library to search about anyone or anything that disappears. We walk into the library and the first thing me see is a poster that says," Long live the legendary Elves", the poster shows five hooded figures with elements in front of them. Fire, wind, water, earth, and another one that has all of them." May I help you find anything?", Miss Mareanne our librarian asks." Do you have anything on those elves Miss Mareanne?", Jay asks." Yes of couse Jayden", Miss Mareanne says." Why do we need to know about elves, our mates are not elves", Nic asks." Well I think we should look here cuz no one just disappears", Jay says sternly." Do you really think our mates are elves", Jer asks." Well we don't know but we can always try to find out", Jay says looking up at the poster.

               Aliena's POV

         " When will those dogs give up, they are never going to get you", Arthur says annoyed." Maybe we should talk to them instead of running all of the time", Melody asks in her sweet little voice." Are you nuts, they won't leave us alone if we go up to them", Flare argues back." They'll still keep coming if we just keep ignoring them", Sky says annoyed." Yeah so lets just just try to stay wawy from them and stay on groups of two or more so we don't get trapped", Arthur says and everyone just nods. Tomarrow is the beginning of the year party ,we never go to parties so we don't get found out." Hey want to go to the training ground tomarrow", Flare asks me." Sure", I say happily. I love to train or just fight in general. I head up to my room and sit on my couch near my window and stare at the sunset. I close my eyes and say to myself that I'm ok and safe.

                FLASHBACK

             " Please stop I'm begging you!"." Stop squrming you little b***h!", Marvin yells at me. I'm being dragged to the torture room. I start sobbing incontrolably. I'm thrown into a coffin with spikes on the inside of the door." Please don't", I begged." Bye princess", Marvin said slamming the coffin door. I scream in pain. I knew I can't die that easily, it would take about one hundred of the coffins with poison on the tips to even make me close to death. I just sit there bleeding in a dark coffin until they come back to torture me evn more until they get bored.

            END OF FLASHBACK

              Tears roll down my cheeks and Arthur comes in my room and sits down next to me and rubs my back and shhes me." It's alright princess" , he tells me softly. I hug him and he hugs me back. Arthur takes me to my bed and lays me down." Goodnight princess", He says as he tucks me in and kisses my forehead." Goodnight", I sayto him. I then close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
