The following morning, Ethan arrived at Sunshine University wearing a perfectly tailored black suit.
The entire campus went silent.
Students stared in disbelief.
Girls whispered excitedly. Guys looked confused.
Ethan walked calmly through the crowd with an entirely different presence.
Confidence. Power. Authority.
Vanessa, who had just arrived with Jason, froze instantly.
Her eyes widened.
“E-Ethan?”
Jason frowned deeply.
“What the hell?”
Ethan stopped walking and looked at them calmly.
Vanessa forced an awkward smile.
“Ethan… you look different.”
Ethan’s expression remained emotionless.
“Do I?”
Vanessa stepped closer.
“I heard… something happened yesterday…”
Jason quickly interrupted.
“Stop pretending, Ethan. Where did you steal the money from?”
Ethan looked directly at him.
Then he smiled faintly.
“Funny,” he said softly. “A few days ago, you thought I was beneath you.”
Jason’s face darkened.
“And now?”
The entire crowd watched nervously.
Ethan adjusted his sleeve calmly.
“Now you can’t even compare.”
Jason clenched his fists angrily.
But before he could speak—
Several black luxury vehicles suddenly stopped outside the university gate.
Bodyguards stepped out immediately.
Then Alfred Kingston himself walked toward Ethan respectfully.
“Young Master Cole,” he said loudly, “the board meeting is ready.”
The entire campus froze.
Vanessa’s face lost all color.
And at that moment…
She finally realized the boy she abandoned was no longer the poor loser she once mocked.
He had become someone completely untouchable.
