“You’re late for work, Kuroshiro.”

Captain Richard Evans is the head of the Incubus Hunt Division. He is stern-looking, strict, and disciplined. Before I joined the organization disguised as a Japanese-American human, he had already killed half of my race. Don’t get me wrong, we devils are powerful, but understanding human technology, I realized that we are only powerful because we have powers and we can go spiritual. Now that we are trapped, we can no longer do much… it felt like some our powers were sealed.

If I did not reply, he might scold me more… “I just enjoyed my weekend too much, Captain. It won’t happen again.”

“Damn right it won’t happen again!” his deep husky voice intimidated even those who aren’t involved. “We have a case again and it’s that incubus!”

“Is it here in New York again sir?” one of my comrades asked.

Every squad have at least five members… five skilled members… including the captain, that makes six.

Jose Rodriguez, Mexican, he is quite short but he is agile. He is also good at explosives. His signature feature is his Super Mario like appearance.

Anna Choi, Chinese descent, was once the top-ranking exchange student in China is our vice-captain. She is good at close combat battles but what makes her pretty dangerous is the fact that she lost her husband to a succubus. She truly hates our race because of that and I will never let her find out my true identity. Her signature feature is her very long hair to which she uses as her weapon and her narrow eyes, not unlike mine which isn’t really that narrow considering that I’m not really Japanese… but a demon in hiding.

Tyrell O’Neil, African-American, is our tank. He is buffy and tough. His front is full of scars but his back is clean. This guy takes everything head-on… like a sturdy castle wall that is almost impenetrable.

Geoffrey Pavlov the pale-looking Russian sharpshooter but with a secret similar to mine. He is a dhampir, half-vampire, and half-human. Not only that, but he is also a lady’s man… just like me… but… he is part human so he is more or less safe with what he does. Of course, I am backing him up with otherworldly help to hide the other half of his origin. One more thing, he has a very strong Russian accent and it rocks!

Finally, the one who asked the question… Irina Louis. She is the ace of the group because she is probably the most capable agent that I have ever encountered. The target that I could never conquer… … because… … she is… … into women. I just can’t fathom that I would be defeated by homosexuality… However, this lustful desires for her… I need to make my move… I really need to…

“It’s not in New York though…” the captain shook his head. “It’s not even here in America…”

“Excuse me?”

I spoke out of turn. It was not normal for me to cut into conversations. Of course… I am the only womanizer in New York… if an incubus incident outside of it then… it wouldn’t have been me. Is there a possibility that I am not actually the last of my kind just yet?

“Is something wrong, Agent Kuroshiro?” Captain Evans raised his eyebrow at me. “You seem rather shocked…”

“Y…Y…Yes… Yes, I am shocked at the very least because I haven’t heard any case of this happening outside of New York.”

“So where is this case, Captain?” Geoffrey decided to cover for my sudden exclamation. “It is as Agent Kuroshiro said, this is the first time that an isolated incident happen.”

“HMMMMP!” Captain Evans stared at the others. “It seems like you agents are surprised as well… It is in actually in the United Kingdom.”

“Europe?” Tyrell grinned. “Jesus Christ, is this an international case Captain?”

“Damn right it is!” Captain Evans nodded in a serious fashion. “And wherever an Incubus or Succubus incident occurs, it is our business. Maybe this time, that incubus left the country and went there for a change!” He then clapped his hands, “Pack your bags and prepare VISA’s and PASSPORTS! We’re going early tomorrow morning! AM I CLEAR?!”

“SIR YES SIR!”

“DISMISSED!”

[Outside Anti-devil Agency]

“Thanks for saving my ass back there, Geoffrey,” I sighed. “I was really surprised to find out that I might not be alone…”

“Well, you are my uncle. I would do anything to help you.”

“You can’t say that when I look younger than you…” I leered at him, “and I am an Asian and you are European.”

It’s true that his vampire father was my best friend and his human mother was a good woman but she wasn’t my type. So it is only natural to watch over their son now that both of them had passed on…

“Other than that,” he grinned and gave me a picture. “I got you a target. You can do one more woman before we leave for the UK, right?”

“I know you don’t do that,” I grinned at him. “This isn’t a target. This is Sarah… our watcher…”

“Well she told me to give you her picture and she also told me that she’ll be in the United Kingdom.”

“That witch predicts everything, so is that all?” After checking her photo, I looked back at Geoffrey and noticed that he wasn’t there anymore. “So this is what it feels like… just like Commissioner Gordon when Batman leaves without saying goodbye.”

All of them with a sack on their heads and their throats slit

As their blood dropped down in the middle of the pentagram circle, a woman lit up five candles

Holding the sixth candle, she started chanting a summoning spell

The pull of blood in the middle suddenly boiled and a portal to hell opened up

One by one, the incubi and succubi are released into the world

However, the woman was discovered by the holy crusade but she escaped leaving the portal opened

The portal was immediately closed but the damage had already taken its toll for we the incubi and the succubi were already out and free to roam the Earth

For years I had searched for her… my summoner… I wanted to thank her… I found her first and mated with her… every single day and night. I became obsessed with her and I wanted to be her slave. Unfortunately, we were discovered by the holy crusade and she was burned to death while I lived hiding within the cities as a human.

The witch was wise though… she was able to cast a spell that would allow her to be born again in the future. Years passed, and I still haven’t heard from her. I wanted to find her and be with her again…

I suddenly started hearing loud bang… and so I opened my eyes. Beside me was the woman I targeted late in the afternoon. I heard loud bangs again and this time I knew that they were gunshots. The woman awakened too and she was scared.

“There seems to be a riot going on,” I told her as I peered through the curtains. I checked the time and it was still three in the morning. I turned to the woman, “We need to get out of here. It might not be safe.”

“O…Okay…” the woman gathered her clothes and headed to the toilet. “Please wait for me…”

As soon as she entered the toilet though, I leaped out of the window transforming back from the woman’s desire into Agent Kuroshiro. The gunfire wasn’t normal so, I had to check. True enough it wasn’t… There are agents from Anti-devil Agency against what looks like a group of malevolent spirits. The agents are sending out an S.O.S. through their coms.

“To any agent who can hear this, proceed to Inwood Manhattan for an emergency raid! We are under heavy fire and we are in need of back up!”

“Copy that, we are on our way,” somebody replied. “Just hang in there, ETA 15 minutes!”

“We can’t hold on much longer!”

“We are also doing the best we can to get you back up. They are on their way as we speak. Anti-devil Agency out!”

This is the hardest part for me, choosing a side. If I’ll respond, I would actually be turning my back against my own people. It would be a different case if they were werewolves. I would immediately respond to attack, but malevolent spirits are our comrades. I clenched my fists… I had to leave. If I joined on either side, I would just be risking my identity.

[The next day]

“It looks like you are all prepared mi amigo,” Jose Rodriguez checked out my stuff. “I only brought here with me one tiny luggage. Hopefully, they would serve tequila and margarita during the flight.”

“You know, you are being your stereotype, Agent Jose,” Irina Louis shook her head in shame. “Have you heard about what happened last night in Manhattan?”

I glanced at her and pretended to not know anything, “I do not know, Agent Irina. What happened?”

“Did you turn off your communication device last night, Agent Kuroshiro?” she glared at me.

“Ah dear senorita, I will be honest with you… I did turn off my coms last night. It was a mistake in my part.” Jose butted in saving me the trouble.

She sighed, “For top agents like us, we should set a great example to…”

“I’M SORRY I AM LATE!” Tyrell O’Neil came rushing towards us carrying his two giant luggage like they were small handbags. “WERE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR ME?”

“To be honest my good man,” Geoffrey patted him in the back, “We still have an hour before our flight and it will be a private jet so you don’t need to get tensed. As for you Agent Irina, you need to calm down, please. The S.O.S. was about three in the morning that I doubt most of the agents working during the daytime just dismissed.”

“You were awake though, right Russian?” Anna Choi took baby steps towards us. “I was also awake fixing my luggage during that time. Help apparently arrived and there was some casualty on both sides but in the end, a lot of them escaped due to the interference of goblins. Be aware that we are assigned to the Incubus Hunt Division and not in the Malevolent Spirit Hunt Division.”

“China has a point,” Geoffrey grinned at Irina. “We know our top priority. And this flight is one of those things.”

“I was also asleep when it happened.” Tyrell smirked, “Anyway, we should head to the jet. Maybe we could already make preparations for our luggage.”

[Inside the jet]

“Hey Jose,” Geoffrey tilted his head signaling the Mexican to look in front. “Check out that hot stewardess.”

“MMMMHHH MAMASITA, What a sight to behold,” he drooled a bit. “What do you think Japanese?”

I took a glance at the stewardesses, “I’ll give that one a six and that one a five point five.”

“AH your scoring is too biased, Japanese,” Geoffrey grinned at me. “So can I take one of them?”

“Are you serious?” Tyrell groaned. “I kinda admit that you got a nice taste of women just like the J’s that I am wearing right now. “

He flashed his rubber shoes in front for us to envy. However… Anna purposefully stepped on it.

“That’s what you get!” she stuck out her tongue and turned away.

“That’s a foul woman!” Tyrell unzipped his bag to take out a couple of wet wipes. “I just bought this yesterday!!!”

“Five words,” Anna raised her middle finger, “I don’t give a f**k…”

I caught Irina smirked making me crack up a smile too. Captain seemed tired and was fast asleep and things were getting boring and so I also took a snooze.

When I woke up, we were already in the middle of the flight. Everybody else was asleep at that time but it seemed like one sit is empty. Where did Geoffrey go? There were two flight attendants and one of them was missing. The other one was apparently asleep as well. We would be landing to London and the flight would approximately take us about six hours. Geoffrey had enough time to screw with the woman. This feeling of wanting to even listen to the moans of that stewardess just to feed my lustful desires… I wanted to search for him. Luckily, I know where to go.

This son of a b***h Russian dhampir is slick just like me. I pressed my ear to the other side of the door to visualize what was happening through my ears.

I moved away from the door and left. But as soon as I turned, Jose and Tyrell were already listening. Their ears also pressed on the door. Of course, that dhampir already knew that we were here… he is part vampire for Christ’s sake! I grinned at the two and went back to my seat. Irina, already up, looked at me as I buckled up my seatbelt.

“Where did you boys go?” she asked showing great curiosity.

This could probably be a chance to lead her straight back to being a woman. I grinned, “Just head straight and then turn left… You’ll witness something awesome…”

She turned to look at Anna Choi, “Should we go and check?”

Anna seemed unsure and stared at me, “Is there something in there?”

“I don’t know… I guess you’ll have to find out~”

“Let’s go,” Anna unbuckled her seatbelt and left with Irina.

[A couple of seconds later…]

The two girls were screaming mad at the top of their lungs as I pretended to sleep with my headphones…
