Akihiko's Side “You looked stressed,” Anna patted my head. “Is there any problem, Japanese?” “Your head patting is enough to remove stress, Chinese…” I sighed as I checked my laptop. “You’re reviewing about vampires?” Irina sat down beside me. “Was it about the vampire attacks the other night? Well when I was young, vampire attacks were more rampant here in London…” “Oh yeah you’re British, right?” Anna exclaimed. “I keep calling you Irina but I forgot that you were supposed to be called British!” Irina frowned at her in a friendly way, “So now we’re back with the nicknames… har-har…” “Since we have not gotten any leads with the incubus, I thought of cleaning out the rest of the vampires…” I told them while looking for the type of vampire that Lolita was. “I was thinking of… an elite type of vampire of pure descent… one who could infect and control the humans that they bite…” “Well… I’m not from the Vampire Hunt Division so I can’t give you a good answer…” Irina smiled at me, “Well… for all we know before there were only a few types that exist… now that we’ve studied demonology… we found out that vampires are like humans… they are racially diversified.” “Not like the incubi and succubi, right?” I looked back into my research. “For all I know, incubi and succubi aren’t racially diversified… well except for their offsprings…” “The Cambion or Children of Demons,” Anna checked her smartphone. “At least that’s what they are called in the game Dungeons and Dragons…” “Speaking of which, we also had cases of changelings around before…” Irina took out her laptop from her bag and joined with the research. “Children of fairies…” Geoffrey approached us. “Looks like you are onto something eh?” “Not just something…” I signaled Geoffrey with my eye, “It’s complicated…” “I see…” he nodded at me. “Hey Mexican, do you have a minute?” “Sure amigo, what’s up?” Jose rushed to our area. “Ooh-la-la… This is the vampire case…” “So about the tonight’s s****l agenda… I will have to decline my invitation…” Geoffrey patted Jose’s head. “No sweat my friend,” Jose grins. “Blackie and I are still going, right mate?” “I will sadly have to decline you, my nigga,” Tyrell sadly shook his head… “You’re on your own man…” “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” [During lunchtime…] “I realized that the vampires can’t follow me around with you guys here with me.” “British girl immediately took off when she realized that we were being followed,” Geoffrey felt his environment being the dhampir that he was to check if anyone was still around following them. “It looks like the coast is clear. So, what’s up?” “A pure vampire of I don’t know which race found out that I was an incubus during the encounter, so she blackmailed me. She will be using me tonight for her nefarious plans… It will be horrible. You have to watch me from afar tonight…” “You have a plan?” “You are the plan, but not yet…” “I’m listening… Japanese…” “It’s good that you are… Russian…” [The next day…] Geoffrey approached me, “You look pathetic…” “I do right?” Looking at the mirror, I saw a dull Japanese devoid of happiness and enthusiasm. “Have you gotten to follow where they headed?” “I did… … they went to the general’s house. She was fearless and prideful, that vampire girl…” he lighted up a cigarette. “You smoke?” “No… I don’t…” I clenched my fist, “let’s talk later…” “Sure do…” he whispered as the rest of the squad joined us. Geoffrey stared at Jose, “How was last night, boy?” “It was horrible because when our dates found out that you left the chat, they backed out…” Jose was weeping like a child who dropped his ice cream. “They’re not my type anyway…” Geoffrey chuckled. “Same here dog, I didn’t like those women at all,” Tyrell seconded him. “BUT I LIKE THEM!!!” Jose cried out loud. “MY BALLS LIKED THEM!!!” “Shut up buffoon,” Irina shoved him off and sat down beside me. “So I was researching last night when I found something crazy about these vampires. I found a strange race called the Elitist…” “I’m listening…” I suddenly took an interest. “What have you got?” “So according to my research…” she started to explain while Anna sat beside her, “…the Elitist are a race of vampires capable of inviting themselves in even without being invited. They do not fear crucifixes, wooden stakes, and garlic, but they do fear blessed water. They can easily control the weak-hearted while their bites can infect humans and turn them into a race called turned vampires. Those turned ones cannot infect humans though… However, turned vampires can return back if an Elitist is killed…” “So these turned…” Geoffrey took an interest, “Are they afraid of the sun?” “Well, we were being followed yesterday, right?” Anna showed snapshots from the hidden cameras on her gloves. “They were blending in within the city.” “Ooh…” Jose made some speculation, “Do you think these vampires want revenge for what we did?” “Maybe…” Tyrell looked around just in case. “We have to stay vigilant… How do we feel for their presence if they’re blended within the society?” “All I can tell is that they’re as pale as Geoffrey… or even paler…” Irina smiled at him. “But what about black though?” Tyrell seriously pointed out his racial background. “As for those who aren’t light-toned…” Irina glanced at Tyrell, “there is one more thing to know… using thermal scans… they’re cold.” “Good thing we’re agents, we have those in our inventory,” Jose grinned. “It looks weird though…” “Damn right it is…” I sighed. “If I ever find these vampires… I’ll contact you guys and we’ll sort them out…”
