I can’t believe this. Last time, I was almost caught and killed by the nuns of the Vatican Crusaders. That time, July 23rd of the year 2019, I found myself caught up in a vampiric situation… There I were… using the blessed bullets given to me by Dimaria Ventura, the head… the mother superior of the crusader nuns… from the Vatican… against these turned vampires whose master or masters suddenly thought that it was a good idea to f**k up the city.

There are many kinds of vampires, but let me teach you a few of the basics… Pure or elite vampires are the species capable of turning a human target into a slave vampire by the profane ritual of biting their victim and sucking their blood. The victims turn into a “Turned Vampire” and they will serve their biter. When these turned ones bite, they won’t infect their victims because the only ones that can do that are the elites.

So at that point in time, I was out of holy bullets, I was cornered, and I was in my human form aka Japanese. Since the coast was clear, I was planning to show them who’s boss by transforming into the devil that I was. However, it wasn’t that easy… for me to do that since I was inside of a burning building and I was literally suffocating to death… … not really demons can basically choose if they should breathe or no. At the same time, the squad, and the nuns were very far from my location and were also in a tight spot… so it was pretty difficult for me so I ran to the roof and found an open area for me to move around.

“Come to join the ranks, agent,?” A blonde elite vampire dressed like some girl going to prom stood a few feet away. “You’re surrounded and you are in no way shape or form capable of beating a mob of my vampire slaves. Let me bite you and you will live, or if you don’t you’ll just be their meal… Choose your fate~”

“I still have these,” I showed her our very own agent-issued 12-inch samurai swords. “I can pretty much cut your men down with pure skill…”

“Are they blessed?” she asked.

“Nope,” I stupidly replied. “Oh s**t…”

She chuckled, “Feed on him boys!”

“Hurry Mister, jump now and grab my hand!” she had long silvery hair with bat-like wings helping her fly. “I’m not with them!!! I’m here to help!”

What should I do? I need to decide now…

“f**k it!” I leaped and grabbed her hand.

She carried me to the other building far from the fire. I was keeping my guard up just in case because I wanted to make sure that she was friendly.

“Are you alright?” she asked as soon as we landed down. “You were in a pinch back there but you were brave for an agent.”

“Thank… Thank… Thank you… let me… catch my breath for a bit…” I was on all fours unable to believe that I was able to make it alive. “Why did you save me?”

She grinned, “I always do that to family. You’re a devil, aren’t you?”

“Whoa, how did you find out?” I asked and backed off.

“It’s my miraculous power,” she slowly approached me. “I can easily see through disguises… we could be friends, you know~”

“What do you mean friends… do you mean it with benefits?” I was slowly checking her body out, “I’m not into very young ladies…”

“Don’t worry, incubus,” she sniffed me out, “I will call you soon so stay put~”

“Devils aren’t supposed to give out their true names… it’s their weakness,” I explained to her.

“I know,” she giggled, “I was testing you~ Anyway~ I’ll call you soon~”

She flew away leaving her name out. Ugh, I’m not supposed to be thinking about her at this point, I needed to regroup with the squad!

“It seems that other agencies also responded to help that we were able to drive the vampires away for now, GOOD JOB team!” Captain Evans praised us… only for a bit, “BUT YOU AGENTS MUST BE AT YOUR BEST! Look at Irina, she was able to quell about 20 vampires because of holy water! HOW ABOUT YOU KUROSHIRO, WHERE HAVE YOU GONE TO?!”

“Sir, I was at the burning building rescuing trapped civilians and burning the vampires inside!” I straightened my back and looked straight ahead.

Captain Evans got surprised, cleared his throat and changed his previous statement, “Well…err… VERY GOOD! WHAT ABOUT YOU JOSE?! YOU WERE RUNNING AWAY!”

“Capitan! I didn’t have any holy water with me at that time so I was just luring them to Agent Black!” Jose straightened his back after climbing on top of a chair to match my height.

“IS that true, Agent O’Neil?” the captain looked at our muscle man.

“Yes Captain,” Tyrell nodded. “He was baiting them towards me.”

“Mr. Akihiko,” Dimaria approached us together with the nuns while holding their shotguns and rifles. “You sure had a timing for appearing so suddenly here in this area. Have you been here before?”

“He was Mother-superior,” Captain Evans answered for me. “He was once deployed here for a werewolf investigation. Is there any problem with regards to this?”

“No, of course not. We would like to commend him for the help,” she made the sign of the cross, “In the of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

“Amen,” Jose grins while putting his hands together. “See I told I was religious…”

“What brought you here, Mother-superior?” Captain Evans gave Jose a glare and then turned back at the nun. “Your timing was also perfect, in fact especially those dresses… I didn’t know that nuns can dress so casually.”

“This is work uniform, captain,” Dimaria explained while handing over her magnum pistol to one of the nuns. “If devils can blend within the human society, then why can’t we?”

“I see,” Captain Evans nodded. “Good plan Mother-superior. I’m sure that God would be pleased…” he then turned his attention to us. “As for you lot, you are all dismissed. See you tomorrow morning for another meeting.”

“I’m pretty much stronger than you and your men combined when I am in this form!”

“Yeah,” she grinned and showed me her smartphone. “You won’t touch me… because if you even tried to… the world will know that you are working as Agent Kuroshiro Akihiko. Your cover will be blown and you will definitely die just like your own brethren~”

I clenched my fists hard and knelt on the ground.

“What would you have me do?” I glared at her unable to fight back.

“Since you made it difficult for me,” she walked around me stroking my clawed wings, “I want you to mate with married women of my choosing while I play around with their men until I am satisfied and make them a part of my circle. I know that you creatures are choosy with who to mate~ but you have no choice if you wanted to keep your identity a secret~ you’ll have to follow me…”

I looked at her underlings. They were all dead inside. They were turned vampires but their minds were locked to listen to her voice. She didn’t even tell me her name. What’s worse… my identity was at stake.

“Now what shall I make you do first?” she giggled as one of her own men got on all fours for her to take a sit.

“Do it at night,” I told her. “I work during the day…”

“I know that~” she grinned, “I’m not that dumb~”

“Finding that your wife is cheating on you will give me a 75% chance to get them depressed and only 25% chance being aggressive. Also, studying people is my specialty and I can see through masks and disguises.” She glared back at me, “You don’t have a choice…”

“I know…”

“So are we clear?”

“Yes…”

“Good~ Now it’s time for us to leave~” she snapped her fingers and they all flew away.
