Caleb noticed the change in Serena’s demeanor. She’d gradually shut down and now the silence in the vehicle was deafening.
He should have been grateful for the silence. He could work on resisting his urge to maul her with his kisses. However he missed the absence of her voice too much to celebrate the presence of silence.
