As students gather all round Emily and Rachel were there. They had arrived without Katherine quite registering it they had been close behind her, anxious, reading something in her walk that morning that had made them follow rather than wait. Emily was already moving forward, her face tight with worry, her hand reaching toward Katherine's arm.
