The whole human resources department was busy that Monday morning. Everyone was manning their desks and answering hundreds of phonecalls that morning alone. Kathy could not even imagine the trouble that the boss had placed her on such short notice. She was in her office when a staff member rushed inside her office and handed her a phone.
Kathy looked up and smirked, she was in the middle of reviewing the resumes of the shortlisted applicants and she had no time to poke her nose at somebody else's business.
