When I went inside, I immediately jumped in the shower to wash the filth of the Highland Campground off my body. My hair reeked of smoke and my clothes stuck to my body like a paste. I inhaled deeply, hoping the steam would clear my nostrils of all the unwelcome scents. The warm water ran down my back and shoulders, helping the muscles to relax after firmly gripping the steering wheel and bouncing around in my seat. I used the loofah sponge with mango scented body wash to cleanse my body twice, attempting to eradicate the smell. My skin looked like a lobster when I finished, but I didn’t care. Using far too much shampoo, I scrubbed my hair forcefully. As I rinsed, my scalp burned, and I had to let the water run for several minutes to fully wash away the suds. After I got out of the shower
