***** Lucy’s POV A stirring of light flickered in through the curtains of my window as I sat crunched and stiff by my door still naked from my shift last night. I pulled myself up slowly and went into the bathroom. I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror with my makeup ruined and eyes red and swollen from crying. Turning away from the mirror, I mechanically stepped into the shower. The hot water hit my stiff shoulders, but all I felt was numb.
