“ That witch!” Lucas said in an angry tone as he threw his jacket on the ground.

“ I presume things didn't go as planned,”

“ Uncle you don't understand, I looked at her for more than thirty minutes, that's not Megan, whoever that woman was, I couldn't recognize her,” Lucas sighed in disbelief.

“ Well I've gathered some interesting information about this new Megan, from the time she left your house to her now. She worked as a waiter for a while until Miss Veronica approached her and took her under her wings by adopting her and training her to be who she is now. There are records of all the training she's gone through and her new nickname is the she Demon, she doesn't hesitate to destroy anyone in her way,” Lucas carefully listen as his uncle read the report.

“ She's just a dog who just learned how to bark, but I've been in this game long enough, she can't do anything to me,”

“ Your ego will be your biggest doom, you got to work smart, she's not the little naive girl you could just walk over,”

“ So what do you suggest I do, allow her to walk all over me,”

“ Woo her, haven't you heard the saying, keep your friends close but your enemies closer, find her weakness, use it to your advantage and most importantly, work smart,” Lucas’ uncle knew how rational his nephew was and it was his duty to protect him.

“ Sorry to interrupt sir but you would like to look at this, it just arrived,” his secretary passed a letter from the court, Megan had filed a case against him and filed for a devorce.

“ God damnit, his woman is testing my patience,” Lucas could no longer hide his anger after the news reached the public.

“ Breaking news, the public is shocked after Miss Megan Walker, the daughter of Miss Veronica Walker, sues Mr Lucas Anderson for harassment and files for a devorce. According to our resources Mr Lucas and Miss Megan were married before her adoption by miss Veronica, we are still waiting for both parties response,”

“ I'm terrified of you now, if this was a game you just choose to go for it, no beating around the bush,” Miss Veronica acknowledged as they watched the news blew up.

“ People think that playing the victim is a weak thing to do, but for me it's the strongest card I can draw. Men like Lucas function with their egos and image, so destroying one or both makes them vulnerable,”

Megan knew exactly what Lucas was like after being married to him. He might have been a two faced beast but such a man is always predictable. Megan was ready to use the advantage of understanding Lucas against him unlike him Lucas knew nothing about the new her and just how much she was ready to put in the line to bring him down.

“ Mother want to put your betting skills to work, how about a little mother and daughter challenge,” Megan spoke confidently which attracted Miss Veronica's attention.

“ It depends what's on the line, you know I hate waisting time,”

“ If I guess correct you have to grant me on wish, if you guess correct, I'll do whatever you want, anything and everything you want,” Megan said confidently.

“ You really are your mother's daughter, how can a mother refuse her daughter, so what's the best,”

“ Knowing Lucas and in the situation I've put him in there is only a few moves he could do to get out of this, A, play the victim card. B, deny everything, this is basic but safe. C, attack back, this is a stupid move but this is Lucas we are talking about. What do you think Lucas will do,”

“ Interesting prediction but a student can't outdo her master, you forgot one card,” Miss Veronica

responded.

“ Which will that card be, if I may ask,” Megan ask curiously.

“ The I'm a changed man card, being a business person you have to learn the language of manipulation, I don't have to remind you what kind of man Lucas is, you've lived it you have seen it,” Megan listened as Miss Veronica open painful wounds and she couldn't help but remember the first day she saw Lucas. How could she forget.

Megan had just started college, she was planing on becaming the best lawyer the world could know but it looked like her parents had other plans for her.

“ Megan this is Mr Anderson, he and you grandma went to the same school and we're close friends,” Megan had heard of the famous Mr Anderson, he was known as the man who stayed young.

“ It's a pleasure to meet you, grandma told me about a man who shook girls hearts back in the day,” Megan said as the rest laughed at her remarks.

“ Just like your grandma I see, this will be perfect, my dear I heard you want to be a lawyer, it's a tough world out her for such a profession,” Of cause Megan knew that, female lawyers had to struggle a lot to get noticed, let alone be successful but that was a gamble she was willing to play.

“ Maybe my story could be different, all of this statistics were made by other people's stories, maybe mine will be different,” Megan would seem to alot of people as naive and innocent but she considered herself a go getter.

“ Listen dear we are not going to stop you from following you dreams, but your father and I are worried about you,” Megan immediately sensed that this wasn't just a normal visit from her mother's tone.

“ What are you saying,” Megan asked chocking on her worlds.

“ We have decided to marry you off to Mr Anderson's son, his name is Lucas and I'm sure if you meet him you will like him,” Megan's parents explained as she just stood there hoping all they had said was a big prank but the looks at their faces showed they were dead serious.

Marriage? That was at the least of her list. Of course Megan wanted to get married one day, but this just felt so soon and Soo sudden, why would her parents even agree to this? What was the real agenda and why her. Lots of thoughts were running through her mind but everything went on hold when she laid her eyes on a man so unreal she could bet he was from a fairly tale, with his short style hair and a white long sleeve, unbuttoned exposing his big chest, to his suit pants paired with his work boots, this man was surely breathtaking.
