Sebastián stares at me; the expression on his face says everything about what just happened.

I ruined this completely, from the deepest place, from the root, and I think there’s no way back.
“I didn’t know you could be such a son of a b***h,” he growls at me, his jaw set like granite. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this angry, and not with me.
When I don’t react, he nods to himself with a sharp movement and then leaves, slamming the door so hard it echoes in my ears. The emotions inside me torment me until all I see is black: a deep black hole threatening to swallow me whole.
“f**k!” I sweep my arm across the desk and clear it, sending everything crashing to the floor with a deafening noise.
