I woke up alone again today.
The moment my eyes flew open, I could not find Killian. Last night, he had come to bed earlier and held me in his arms as we slept but he was already gone before I even awoke.
I sat up and stared sadly at the space where Killian could have been. I hugged my knees to my chest and longed for him. I wished that he could be done with all his unfinished business soon.
"Aha!" I exclaimed as an idea pop up in my head.
My eyes lit up with excitement as I thought of bringing him food again today. That was the only excuse I had for seeing him.
I jumped out of my bed and rushed into the bathroom. I cleaned myself up as quickly as possible. Then I stepped out of the bathroom and found a dark dress in the closet and threw it over my body.
