Nine“Are Ben's knickers all a-twist?” “Easy,” Chief Cross told his microphone and, with it, his sergeant, who knew better. There was a day, once upon a time, when you could ask tactless questions over the radio. But, thanks to too many nosy folks, too many scanners, and too many bottom-feeding lawyers, that day was gone.
