Running......

Chapter 3

Ash's POV (Cara's friend)

She came in running and panting, like she had seen her worst nightmare come to life. It was a routine now, she would come in the mornings with her face pale, would enter the boxing ring and beat up all her opponents, and then she would practice till she passed out out of exhaustion. All those ways I used to get her to open up to me, they never worked. She was a closed off person, who would never trust anyone, but she was always there with me since my parents were never around, I saw them last 6 years ago, and right after that Cara had come into my life.

"-sh, ASH!" I felt Cara shaking me, apparently I was lost in my own thoughts. She looked so worried that I felt bad for zoning out.

"Yeah sorry, I zoned out for a bit. So, I have some news. Your transfer certificate got approved and now you're officially a Wolfhard Highschool Vixen!" Cara, for reasons unknown to me had been trying to get transferred to my school, Wolfhard Highschool for quite some time now. Although I didn't know why she wanted to be there, I was extremely grateful, it would make my life so much easier. As she digested this news, a smile graced her face, though her grey stormy eyes were still dead.

"Well this is just marvelous! I have a lot to do now. I need to pack because I'll stay at the dorms, I need to pick out my sport, my extra curricular activities and I need to move in, all by tomorrow. It's pretty overwhelming but-" As she kept rambling on about moving, I stared at the wall behind her, lost in thought. I knew she wasn't happy, and that she was pretending so that I don't feel sad, but I could always see through her.....

Cara's pov

As I rambled on about moving, I saw that Ash was staring at the wall behind me, obviously not believing my fake happy act. He could always see through me, but one thing that he wasn't able to figure out was my reason for wanting to transfer. It was pretty simple really. I wanted revenge, revenge for what happened to my mother, to what happened to me, and my latest lead pointed towards Wolfhard Highschool, and now that I was a Wolfard Vixen, aka a Wolfhard student, I could easily follow my lead without anyone being suspicious.

Third person's pov

As Ash and Cara both were lost in their own worlds, Ash seeing through Cara, and Cara hell bent on getting revenge, a storm was brewing in Wolfhard Highschool, a storm that could wipe everyone out......
