Chapter 3 : The New family

Blaze’s pov:

I woke up groggily with the sound of the knock on my door. Confused, I checked the time at the digital clock, on the nightstand and found it was already 6:30 pm. I was shocked, I had slept for more than 10 hrs in the daylight.

Which was too long for enough!

Leaving my bed, I got up and went to open the door covering myself with the robe and saw Bertha there, waiting for me.

“Miss Moon, I am extremely sorry for waking you up, but Alpha asked for you and is waiting for your arrival in his office.” She said with an apologetic face.

I shook my head, rejecting her apology, smiled and said,

“Please call me Blaze, and I should thank you as I had slept long enough and if you didn’t have wakened me up, I would have not been able to sleep at the night and.... I’ll be down in a minute” She nodded with a smile and went away.

After closing the door, I went inside the bathroom, washed my face clean and tied my long hair into a ponytail. With that, I headed towards the office, downstairs. It was the same room we talked when I arrived here.

Knocking the door, I entered when I heard a faint come in and then waited for Alpha to acknowledge me. After a few second of waiting, he closed his file and the laptop, and then asked me to take the seat.

“I hope you like your room and had a good rest?” Alpha asked me clasping both of his hands on the table with a smiling face.

“Yes alpha it’s pretty nice here and I did have a good rest.” I said with an honored expression, silently thanking him for all the luxury he provided me.

“I ask you to meet me because as I know that you are still a minor, I would recommend you to continue your schooling.” He stated leaving me shock.

noooo! No school, Please.

“No one likes school but you have to attend it.” He said with a playful smirk.

Did I say it aloud?

“No, it’s written on your face.” He replied bluntly with a chuckle.

“So when should I start?” I pouted in response, still not wanting to start school.

“From the day after tomorrow, and which year you were studying back there?” He asked taking out a paper from the drawer, under his desk.

“Junior”

“Great, my son and daughter, and Jeremy are in the same year, you won’t be left alone as they will give you a company.” He said with satisfaction and wrote it down on that paper which was my school form.

Son and daughter, Jeremy?

“Alpha, who are they?” I asked him.

“I have a son and daughter, Stephan and Stephanie; they are at their nana’s pack for the winter vacation with their mother. They would be back by tomorrow then you shall meet them, and Jeremy is beta’s son, he was the one who brought you here.

You four would be going to school together and I know you were homeschooled so do not panic. I will also say them you are just a human who knows our existence and the story behind it is ’as your granny was mated to werewolf, had non-werewolf son and granddaughter.”

I raised both of my eyebrows with amusement because of his story and said,

“Nice lie”

“I think you’d be hungry, you should go to dining hall and eat. After dinner, Bertha would take you out to the mall for shopping. Buy everything you seem necessary” He smirked at my response and then changed the topic.

After thanking him, I exited the room and went to the kitchen where Bertha was waiting for me with the dinner. We both ate and talked about this pack entertaining ourselves.

I came to know that Bertha already had completed her schooling two years back and now is working here, in the pack house as their head maid.

Alpha believes education is for all, so he had made a rule that schooling is compulsory for all the citizen of this pack. Everyone here either has a diploma or is studying for it. To make education easier for pack mates, he also had made a public school in this town so that people here would not have to go in the city in order to educate themselves.

After dinner, I changed into a cream full sleeve sweater and warm leggings which I borrowed from Bertha, and some spare clean undergarments.

We shopped for a lot of things other than clothes like pieces of jewelry, books, bag, perfume, makeup, straighter + curling iron, hair drier, and fourteen pair of footwear.

Really FOURTEEN pairs!!

I did asked Bertha to stop wasting pack’s money but she replied,

“Alpha had ordered me to buy everything a girl needs because you are just like his daughter to him and this is not the pack’s money but the money he earned by his business.”

Hearing that, tears weld up in my eyes but I refused to let them fall and gave my biggest smile of appreciation.

We reached home around 10 from shopping all the necessary and unnecessary items.

I had already slept enough, so I unpacked everything and placed it where it belongs and refused Bertha to help me as she seemed bit tired because of all the roaming at the mall.

It was almost past two when I finished setting everything on its right place and then a yawn escaped from my mouth.

So let get my lazy ass again on the bed.

I woke up early in the morning as I already had enough of rest yesterday. I went to the bathroom and had a warm water bath relaxing my muscles and took enough time washing my long hairs and massaging the scalp, and then changed into new fresh clothes.

As the ice was still melting, the weather was bit chilly, so I decided to wear a full-sleeved black hoodie top and winter skin tight blue leggings.

It was still early for breakfast so I decided to sit in my room and read the one of the school books I bought yesterday.

Tomorrow would be first day of my school and as I will be going to a very superior school, where students whose parents have a fortune only can get chance to enroll, I should take advantage of it.

The school was in the center between three packs (towns for humans) and two cities.

Though I was engrossed in my book, I was able to hear some faint noise from the ground floor, my hearing sense is very high, but thank goddess I know how to control it, else my ear would have be bleeding by now because of all those high intensity sound.

By all of the voices I can guess the twins and the Luna had arrived thus the quietness of the house is replaced with sound of joy in order to welcome them.

After reading for an hour my tummy felt hunger, so decided to leave the book and then left to head downstairs, towards the kitchen.

As soon as I closed the door of my bedroom, I saw two werewolves of the same age as mine coming towards me with a duffel bag in their hand. They both were pretty similar in their looks, same ash-blond hair, just like their father and green eyes probably from their mother because alpha had blue eyes. Pale pink lips were stretch in a smile and they had a slightly tanned skin unlike mine, a very pale one.

“Hi, I am Stephanie. Do you know, I always wanted a sister? And now I got one. Finally, I got to get rid of my lazy ass of brother.” She said clapping her hand excitedly.

“Hey! I am not dying and converting into Blaze. I am still here and you are still my twin and I will not stop to annoy you” Stephan said with a scowl on his face but as soon as he turned towards me the scowl replaced with a cheeky smile.

“Hey beautiful, sorry for an unpleasant intro, but I am Stephan, the charming son of Mr. Brimwatt and future alpha of this pack.” He said in a fake British accent and bowed me.

“Oh my my, it’s pleasant to meet you Mr. Future alpha. I am Blaze Moon.” I mocked him and kept my hand on my heart showing I am flattered.

Stephanie confusingly looked at Stephan then at me then again Stephan with a question mark face and with the look of that we both burst out laughing. She released a deep sigh of defeat and asked,

“Are you going down to the kitchen for food?”

I nodded in response and then she continued,

“Wait for us, we’ll keep our luggage and wash ourselves then we will join you.” Stephan also nodded in acceptance of her say so I decided to wait and followed Stephanie inside her room.

As I entered the room I was shocked, our room was exactly the same except the color, her’s was pink and white.

Seeing my shocked reaction Stephanie smiled and said,

“All the four rooms here are the same except their colors. As you see mine is pink and white, you’re blue n white, Stephan’s green and white and Jeremy’s is red and white.”

I again nodded as a reply, not knowing what to say.

I never expect alpha would give me all the luxury that he gives to his children.

I thanked moon goddess, for letting me in this pack. I always had thought that my father loves me as he always try keep me safe, but now I came to know what love is. I am just a visitor for a year or maybe few days but he still is giving me everything I need include liberty and respect unlike my father who locked me on the tallest room in our castle not bothering if I am cold or lonely, He only came once a week asking if I need anything and then again be MIA.

I always wonder what will be the situation of my family if my mother would have been alive? Will it would have been different?

“Hey Blaze, what caught your tongue? Why just nodding and not saying anything.” She asked snapping her finger on my face.

“I-I don’t know what to say. Alpha treats me the same as you as if I am his daughter. I don’t understand why.” I broke while saying and a single tear left my eye. I looked down not wanting to show that to her but it was too late.

“Blaze, why won’t he treat you as us? And believe me, he already had accepted you as his daughter and had said everyone in this pack to treat you just as everyone treats me. Though you are not our sister by blood but you are our sister and daughter of our father. You had lost your everyone, now we will love you to be your dear one. Stop crying else I would also start crying.” She wiped my tears away and I smiled at her.

The door burst open, making us startle and we jumped away from each other.

Stephan let out fake loud gasped, covered his eyes and said,

“Oh my goddess, my virgin eyes.” He fake screamed in very high pitch just like a girl and continue,

“Stop deflowering yourself in my house and Stephanie, Blaze you...you both are lesbian? Oh, my goddess why didn’t you said me before. Stephanie I am your twin you should have said me.”

Suddenly his eyes widen living us confused and then he exclaimed,

“I was flirting with my sister in law. I did a worse sin flirting my sister’s mate. How I am going to survive by doing this sin. Please, goddess, forgive me and how come you both know that you are each other’s mate you are still not eighteen yet...”

We both rolled our eyes and He kept on rambling stupid things until Stephanie stopped him.

“Stop it fvckface, we are not mate-“before she completes her sentence, he interrupted again,

“You are not each other’s mate, then why you are-”

“Shut up a-hole let me complete myself, we were not doing anything and by the way, what with virgin eyes? When will you lose your virginity? After banging hundredth girl?” she said with hands on her hip in a challenging manner.

“I am hungry let’s go down” He changed the topic and ran out of the room hiding his blush but failed miserably as we saw and started laughing, and then followed him.

After completing breakfast, we three talked about my new school, the nerds, the wannabes, the jocks, the queen-b and her four minions (the cheerleaders).

They talked with me about the teachers and about their friends. Twins and her three friends are in the category ‘popular’, all of them are higher member of pack and I am too going to join their ‘gang’, that what Stephan said.

After talking, wandering and irritating each other for the whole day we went to sleep as we had to wake up early for school.

And I am so not excited.

Fun fact: alpha was going to have only a daughter and I was about to make Stephan (Jonathan) Jeremy’s twin.
