He stood there outside her apartment with the coffees. He had Boddy look her up. She lived on the far side of town near the river. It was a nicer apartment building but still was run down and needed some repairs, he noted. Well it wouldn't be much longer that she was living here. He had every intention of bringing her back to his place.
She opened the door with the chain lock still on. He saw her reaction to calling her his fiance. She just stared at him mouth open for a solid minute. He just kept looking at her. After a minute he asked again, “May i come in or do i need Bobby to get the keys from the landlord?” It wont be that hard since she has been flirting with Bobby the moment we stepped into the building.
She finally seemed to collect herself and opened the door to let him in. he stepped in and looked around. It was a smaller apartment. She had a couch on the far wall that had seen better days with an arm chair surrounded by books. It had an open floor concept so the living room lead into the kitchen, the sink had a small drip but it was clean with only a tiny bit of clutter that indicated she lived there. There was a door off to the right that must be her room. The door was closed so he couldn't see how big it was.
He handed her the coffee,” its a chi latte” again she looked at him and he shrugged. I like to know what my woman likes. He walked over to the couch and sat down. She went and sat down in the chair. “I can't be your fiance, this has to be a cruel joke i dont know why or how you found me but i dont appreciate you stocking me.” he looked at her,”no joke i need a fiance and you need your mothers medical bills paid.
