ARIANA’S POV
After watching Xavier fall to the ground, he looked like he was in so much pain, I felt relieved because I felt the mate bond break but at the same time, I felt pity for him considering the fact that he is the only one feeling the pain of the broken bond.
After watching him for a bit, I stormed out of the bar room and left the building.
“Anna!!!” Manuel called out to me before he started running towards me. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you, where were you?”
“Sorry, I was greeting an old friend”
“Oh, I totally forgot that you once lived in this part of the world”
“Can I go home?”
“Why? What’s wrong? Did something happen?”
“No, I’m just feeling very dizzy and I feel like I’m about to pass out” I lied hoping that the lie will work.
“Really, what could be the course”
