“Welcome home” I said to Corey when he met me setting the dining table.
“Thank you love, why are you setting the table?”
“I pleaded with them to let do it”
“Uhm, okay”
“Hope you had a good day?”
“Yes I did what about you?”
“I did, I even learnt how to make your favorite meal”
“I had no idea that you were interested in cooking”
“I was just bored, I’m really not used to staying indoors and being idle all day long, so I decided to learn a skill”
“Okay, that’s cool”
“Go up and get changed, I should be done setting the table before you are done doing that”
“Okay, I’ll be down shortly”
“Okay” I said and watched him leave before going back to what I was doing.
“I want to go back to work” I said when we went inside our bedroom after eating.
